Perfect location yards away from the main street in Burgas, our room was generally fine and clean with a nice terrace. Downside with it came from the constant smell of cigarette smoke despite it being a non-smoking room, it seemed to be something to do with the extractor fan in the bathroom.
Our biggest issue came when paying, the non-English lady speaking lady on reception indicated that the credit card machine was broken meaning we had to pay by cash. This was not a huge problem for us but could well be for others, this is a regular thing in Bulgaria for places to avoid credit card fees but is inexcusable in a hotel where the bill might be a lot more than someone would carry in cash.

Would generally recommend this place but do check this in advance so they do not pull this trick on you.

I would like to be your guest again because is clean, service at the reception desk ok, room was confortable with warm colours and a big balcony, quiet and not very expensive.

Guest House Fort is a Home from Home.
In all my travel which takes me to most parts of the world I have never encountered such hostility as that shown by the team of Guest house Fortinov. Especially the owners who couldn’t do enough to all guests to ensure that they have a very enjoyable stay, not only in the hotel but in Burgas as well.
As one of the first guests in Guest House and very regular lodger of the hotel, I have watched it grown from strength to strength. All the staffs are incredible and friendly, Very helpful and offer excellent hospitality 24 hours 7 days a week. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and bright, of good average size and kept clean and fresh all day long.
Excellent and very central location.
I would without hesitation recommend This Guest house to anyone wanting to feel welcome at home from home.

I stayed here for one night and found the guest house very friendly and helpful, the room was a reasonable price and was comfortable, travelling solo on business I would be happy to stay here again as it has a great location for the centre of Bourgas and close to bus station.
The staff in the hotel greated with smiles and was very helpful when I wanted to check my flight times on there computer/internet
