“Good Hotel”

It is one of the Best resorts in Mahabaleshwar. Beautfiul property. Has good nice rooms which are big enough. Picturesque landscape around. Good restaurant, spa and above all has a decent discotheque as well. The food quality is also good. The areas for improvement are the service quality and of course can also improve cleanliness outside rooms. Otherwise a perfect resort for holidays in Mahabaleshwar. The tariff is little expensive.

“Wonderful vacation in a fantastic property”

We decided to make a trip to Mahabaleshwar over a weekend. We were 3 families, all school friends. The resort offered a perfect getaway for us. Since it is location 4 kms away from the main Mahabaleshwar market and is 1 km away from the main road, what appealed the most was the peace and tranquility.

Add to that the walking access to Kates point. Early morning walk in the cool & fresh air from the resort to the point was the highlight of this trip. the breath taking view from the point is still fresh in memory.

I will recommend this resort for anyone who wants to just relax and spend time in peace. Also, those interested in early morning walks - this is the ideal place !!!!!

Room Tip: The Strawberry & Raspberry suites are extremely spacious for a family vacation. Also, since they...

“best place to stay in mahableshwar”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 September 2011

Brightland Holiday Village is an incredible property! The rooms are extremely comfortable and a great value for the price. The resort is located very close to Kate's Point where you can take scenic walks and horse rides. The Spa at the resort is exceptional with great treatments on offer as well as fabulous products! We went with a large group of friends and the staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. The must-do's include a message treatment at the spa, eating the wood-oven pizzas and kebabs, and trying the fresh organic strawberry jam.

Room Tip: the lotus and orchid wings are both fabulous

“Not guest friendly”

Went to enjoy the rains but the hotel was a big disappointment - starting from the reception - a cold windy hall - no welcome drink, no fruits or cookies in the room, no slippers or bath robes either. On asking for the latter, we were told these were not in our package even though we were in the deluxe rooms. The bathrooms need a complete revamp - leaky and cold. The linen was clean but the sofas were badly stained. There were only two bottles of mineral water every day even in double occupancy.

The library and activity room was just a corridor- badly lit and unwelcoming. There is no Airtel signal.

The one saving grace was the food and the F&B manager went out of his way to accommodate our requests but the waiters were not very efficient.

Not the best place for a rainy holiday.

“Incredible”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2011

Everything at this hotel was perfect. From the breathtaking view (specially from the Bar - Over the edge), to the super comfortable and modern rooms, the amazing showers in the bathrooms, the availability of a range of amazing spa massages, the activities (table tennis, pool, library etc) and last but not the least, the consistently amazing food served in the buffet every single meal. I would highly recommend this place for a great getaway as it offers a great all round package.

Room Tip: Get rooms facing the valley. All rooms are very different & unique
