I booked 2 rooms at the President hotel because it was the only one to have vacancies for our particular date and for the very positive review at Tripadvisor. To be fair, I stayed in one of the cheapest rooms so I cannot comment on the upper scale rooms. But the one I was assigned didn't look anything like some of the nice rooms shown in the pictures. The AC was right above the head of the bed, very impractical to use. The ceiling fan dangled on a few lose screws and made a lot of noise. Worst for me, there was no linen for cover, just a blanket, I used the towel to cover myself. I also had a creepy crawly for company in the bathroom.
We had a bus to catch at 9am so we ordered breakfast for 8am but they never delivered. We called several times and always they promised in a few minutes but by 8.30am we still didn't get anything and we had to leave. When we rushed past the reception and mentioned that we did't get the breakfast the only reaction was: "OK".
Only stay there if nothing else is available.

We have just returned from a month at the President Hotel. The hotel is simply equisite and we have never experienced such incredible service before. It was truly a wonderful and an unforgettable experience. Infact it was incredibly difficult to drag ourselves away from the hotel.

We went at a time when temperatures were soaring that whenever we went out, we couldn't wait to get back to the peace and tranquility of the hotel. With spacious rooms to fit the needs of every individual / family which also includes a shower with hot water available at any time of day or night and top class room service, the President Hotel is sure to enthrall you and make your stay highly pleasant and presidential.

Wait there is more, indulge in sumptuous cuisine on demand which ranges from Indian, Chinese, English and Continental. With an experienced chef, You are sure to be licking your fingers at the end of each meal and keep asking for more. There are also a range of activities to keep you occupied throughout the day such as Internet services, Pool table, table-tennis and many more exciting activities which is sure to make you feel right at home.

Finally, the ever-ready staff are always willing to help and deal with any queries that you may have.

A special mention to the boss of the President Hotel, Dhaval Karia who has single-handedly raised the reputation of the President Hotel over the last few years. A very unique personality who will give every customer what they deserve which is nothing below 100% commitment.

We'll definitely go back as the service and treatment we received was in a different league to anything we'd experienced before at other places..I am sure you will too.
