This is one of the best hotels that we've stayed in Porbandar. The rooms are of excellent UK standard with the room service and majority of staff as excellent. There are however 2-3 staff who are extremely crafty and sly, whom made our stay very poor.
We went with our extended family and unfortunately my uncle and aunt weren't picked up from the Airport, despite requesting this. My uncle asked to be dropped off to the Airport which they courteously agreed to, but then at the last minute, they had driver problems and car issues. Obviously, my uncle couldn't afford to miss the flight, so an alternative rickshaw was hired. The receptionist (Siddarth) did not bother to apologise or offer to re-imburse rikshaw fee's (70rupee's, which is £1)!
Siddarth and Abhishek (both reception staff) made the same problem when my brother checked-out his room the following day. They hadn't even arranged for the room service staff to come collect my brother's bag, even though we called downstairs.
The worst was when all of us checked out of our rooms. Surprisingly, Siddarth and Abhishek moaned that their computers had gone down, thus they couldn't tell us what we had to pay. We had a 4.20pm flight to catch, and were still arranging check-out at 3.30pm! Fortunately, Hotel Harmony have some excellent staff (Dharmeshbhai, Pradhant (Security)) who fully accomodate your needs.
To sum this review up, Hotel Harmony is excellent, but avoid Siddarth and Abhishek if you can, or be careful of them - they will even try to con you when exchanging foreign currency!
