I booked this hotel on the 28th Jan and got a good rate of $200 a night including parking. Very hard to spot the hotel as there isnt really any signage and you have to enter from the side street.the building looks a bit old and worn on the outside.Arrived at 330 pm
Went to check in and was greeted by a very rude lady, not friendly at all. Not very welcoming. She asked for my credit card as an imprint, for security and said its needed incase i leave without paying or damage the room, funny thing to say to a guest, i said i wont be doing that and she giggled and said youd be suprised the number of people that say that and do. Found that a very rude thing to say. She also asked for a 100$ cash bond as i didnt want to use my card as i wanted to pay cash, i wasnt happy with that and i said just cancel the booking and she said you cant do that as you need 24 hrs notice, lol id only booked it 20 mins earlier. She said id have to pay for the room either way if i decided to stay or go, what a joke. Id had a long day and just wanted to relax so i paid $200 and the 100 bond. Rooms are very clean but very small, great balconies and views i give them that. Bathroom had doors that open onto the bed so you can see in the bathroom from the bed. Strange shower. From the roof, water leaks onto the floor.or could leak on the lounge carpet if the glass doors were open.
I stay in many hotels spend about 10 or 20 grand a year but id give this place about 3 and a half stars not what i expected. The rude receptionist was the worst and really lowered my opinion of the place. Maybe its because i was wearing a singlet as it was a hot day. I wouldnt stay again unless i had no where else.
