“Standards Have Slipped”

My partner and I have camped here many times (outside peak periods) over the years with our now very old dog and have always loved it. We still love the location, but standards have dropped (it seems new owners/managers are in place?). The showers and toilets were NOT clean (the showers need a complete steam clean and the grout replaced). Speaking of the amenities, cleaning now occurs first thing in the morning instead of after the 'morning rush' to use showers, basins, etc. The pool was also filthy which is not the norm. Also, the new managers seem to want to group campers together instead of spreading them apart - which is why we travel outside peak periods to avoid camping so very close to anyone else. We will be back there soon so it will be interesting to see what happens then.

quiet spot, well appointed cabins even had washing machine & tumble dryer. Kids loved the salt water pool which was a good size. Beach was very handy with great surf. Pricey.

“Expensive but a relaxing getaway”

Well for the price of a cabin you could stay in a 5 star hotel at last minute rates. Apart from this it was brilliant.

The cabins are spacious in the living area but small in the bedrooms and well equipped. Facilities are excellent with communal BBQ and eating areas spread throughout the park. They certainly know how to make this a good getaway.

We had 3 cabins in our group and we had our 3 month old daughter. It was nice to be in a freestanding cabin so we didn't have to worry about her crying annoying anyone.

The beach is 50-100 metres from the holiday park and is lovely and clean. Swimming pool and tennis courts are great.

One thing to note, the hot water is not drinkable and the cold is brought in by tanker. They aren't on mains. I would recommend you take bottled water with you to drink.
