“Great Time”

Just had a fantastic weekend in Wales staying with June. Their place is great, away from all the hustle and bustle of big towns. Easy to get to off the M4 and very close to Cowbridge. June is very accommodating and looked after all our needs. The breakfast is great, tried laverbread, but as warned it is like marmite, you either love it or hate it :-). Will be back

Excellent hosts, Glyn and June, offer warm Welsh hospitality. Bryn-y-Ddafad Country Guest House was the best lodging of our 8-day tour of Wales. Breakfast offerings were exceptional and well prepared. Our room accommodation was wonderful with outstanding views from every room! This Cowbridge location offers rest and relaxation in a beautiful, natural setting!

“Definately worth a visit”

Me and my partner stayed here for a couple of nights as we were in the area for a wedding.

We had the Marissa room which was immaculately clean. The shower was very good with plenty of hot water and the bed very comfortable.

There was plenty to choose from at breakfast and all of the food was delicious. The breakfast room is a very pleasant area to sit in with lovely views over the surrounding landscape.

The building generally was very clean and tidy with light and airy communal areas to relax in and well kept gardens. It is set in a very quiet secluded location with (aside from the power lines in one direction) lovely views.

Altogether a very pleasant and comfortable stay. This together with the money we paid also made it excellent value for money and i would definately recommend staying here if your in the area.

  • Liked — The comfortable room and good food
  • Disliked — Some noise travelling through from the room next door

“Warm welcome every time”

We have stayed with June and Glyn many times over the past few years when visiting family in Cardiff. The accomodation is excellent, beds are comfortable and the rooms are cleaned daily. We have occasionally stayed in other B&B's in the area but none have matched June and Glyns' standards and we now arrange our visits for when we know they have room for us. We have stayed in both the cottage and the house and cannot fault either. The location is wonderful with outlooks over fields yet near to Cardiff centre. Glyn cooks ther most amazing breakfast, using proper sausages and bacon (not the breadstick sausages many B&Bs serve) There is a choice of breakfasts and every taste is catered for. As the cottage is also equipped for disabled use we would recommend this to everyone. When we first arrived we were paying guests but by the end of our stay we felt we were friends the welcome was so good.

“Peaceful location - great breakfast”

Recently spent a few days in this wonderful location. The accommodation is in a delightful area with wonderful views. It is tranquil, but places of interest and places to eat are within easy travelling distance. There is plenty to do in the area and the owners are a wealth of useful information regarding local sights and places to visit. They are helpful, pleasant and friendly, without being at all overbearing. The accommodation was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and very well cooked. And to top it all the weather was brilliant; even got a suntan! We would not hesitate to return if visiting the area again.
