Nice B&B just outside Lairg. I paid £42 B&B for single occupancy of twin room which was good value.

Room nice if a little cramped for a twin with a tiny window & dormer sloping ceilings but perfectly adequate. Nice bathroom.

Nice breakfast & pleasant hosts. Car parking places.

Quietly located outside Lairg so you would have to drive into town to get dinner.

This guest house is by far the best we have ever stayed in. WE went on to stay in 2x3 AA star hotels and they couldn't match this for comfort and cleanliness. An absolute gem.

This is a delightful, quiet, small bed and breakfast establishment, which I have not seen bettered. It is ideally situated near the crossroads for north, north west and the far north east coast of Scotland. The rooms are all ensuite, very comfortably furnished with tea/coffee making facilities, television, central heating. The breakfasts are terrific and evening meals are available by prior arrangement. Highland House was recommended to us and having stayed there for five nights I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone seeking warm, comfortable and marvellously priced accommodation in this wonderful part of the country. The owners make you feel at home, welcome you into their house and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. We shall be returning later this year
