only made a flying visit, due to the new Stena ferry port.........what a great place, beautiful rooms, great location, very helpful owner...

After a long travel day, we arrived in Cairnryan to catch the ferry to northern Ireland in am. From the moment we pulled into the parking, we were greeted by our gracious host. We were two couples travelling from Canada and found the host absolutely gracious and welcoming. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable and we enjoyed the suite at the back of bed and breakfast inn. We enjoyed some great recommendations on a local restaurant in a nearby town and enjoyed the library upon our return to play cards and talk with fellow guests. Are only regret, is that we were unable to stay more than one night. The morning breakfast was delicious and we sadly said goodbye, with hopes someday to return.

This is a great hotel - the accommodation is excellent as is the food (what a fantastic breakfast!) and the customer service is second to none. Highly recommended.

We arrived on a cold and wet August afternoon and found the welcome very warm and friendly. Our room had everything one needs and more. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Noise from the busy road was minimal at the back of the hotel. Advice was on hand from the owners about places to eat locally and places to visit. It couldn't have been a better place for a break despite the weather.
