have just returned home today after a 2 night stay ,found the owner mike to be very freindly as soon as we rang the bell.we upgraded to the best room in the house, room was outstanding .shower very hot just what you need after a long walk along the sea front.breakest 1st class wide selection on show in mornings.very comfortable stay overall .on arriving after 4 hours in car welcomed with a cup of tea.would recommend this b&b to anyone who likes to be able to just get up and go.plenty to do and see within walking distance,we will be returning some time soon may be in the summer months to get the full benifit of this wonderful location.

“Convienient Location, comfortable & excellent service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 September 2011 via mobile

Booked the Botany Bay room for 2 nights, wanted 4 but due to circumstances of their own popularity it was booked for the other 2! Sad to leave! Service is superb & very friendly, room is quiet & whilst not large, is certainly big enough! Large varied breakfast! Small balcony for 2 to sit on & you can see the sea too! Only 30secs walk to end of road & lovely sea view or 1 minute to the top if the bay! Very happy!

“Wonderful, peaceful and relaxing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 August 2011

I took my Mum away for a weekend break and we couldn't have asked for more..We were made to feel very welcome with a pot of tea made on our arrival. The Botony room was very comfortable with lovely decor, its own balcony and only a munutes walk from the sea front. Michaels 'full monty' breakfast was superb as was the fresh fruit salad also on offer. Will definitely be booking here again, it was a lovely relaxing enjoyable stay at Number 68. Thankyou very much.

“Excellent B&B in quiet part of town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 July 2011

Stayed here for 3 nights, very welcoming host Michael. Had the French Room at the back of the house nicely done out, very comfortable. Plenty of reading matter and DVDs provided. Lots of fresh fruit and yoghurt for breakfast, and the option of a light breakfast is a good idea as you don't always feel like a full English but a continental can leave you a bit hungry. Broadstairs is a bit of a hidden gem between the brasher Margate and bustling Ramsgate. Number 68 is in a pleasant avenue a couple of minutes walk from the seafront and parks and a five-minute walk from the town centre, very handy for buses and a 10-minute easy walk to the station. Not sure about parking as I was on public transport.

“Very happy with thins B&B”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 May 2011

I have to say that this B&B is very good. Close by to sea and town centre but in quite street which was great.

Our room was very nice and cosy with small en suite which was ok. What else do you need for a quick shower?:)
Our bed was made every day (I didn't expect that!) and generally room was tidying daily.

Only minus was the mattress which is my problem only as I am not used to sleep on soft mattress so I was jumping when I was turning (or my friend has been jumping...) Well but as I said it is only my problem.

The owner did as us every morning what is our plan and then he suggest some ideas. Have to say that his suggestions were very helpful as we have been mostly walking (no car) so it was always good to know the best and most beautiful way. Good knowledge of the surrounding area!

Breakfast was just delicious! Fresh fruit salad (yummy), cereals, and you could choose from 3 types of breakfast (vegetarian, full english and light). Everything was freshly made and food was hight quality. The owner does remember what type of breakfast did I have day before and how was my egg prepared. I was so pleased with that.

I would come again definitely.
