“Lovely place & very nice hosts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 August 2011

We stayed for ten days and can only recommend this wonderful B&B. Everything is top notch: From the room which had everything you need in a small b&b and a spotlessly clean bathroom, to the great breakfast (just wish I could eat more in the mornings!) which always included a big pot of coffee and also the interior decorations of the house (all done with lots of love and an eye for wonderful little details). Sue and Roger are really lovely hosts who made us fell very welcome and were always there when we had a question or needed assistance with something.

The location of the Copperfields is great, too: The high street and at least a dozen restaurants are just around the corner, and the seashore is within a walking distance of mere minutes. Despite this we never once had any traffic noise; our room was towards the garden and very quiet. We did see two cute dogs at one point, but had we not seen them we would have known they were there.

A nice bonus is the free wifi, and last but not least the whole place is very eco conscious, just like they say on their website, e.g. non-animal tested toiletries are on offer and breakfast has free range eggs.

We would definitely stay there again if in the area. Dear Sue & Roger, thanks for making our stay a memorable one! :-)

“We hope to make Copperfields a yearly event”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 July 2011

This was our second visit to Copperfields in Broadstairs. We can honestly say Roger and Sue are a lovely couple, extremely welcoming and friendly.
The meals are wonderful and it is lovely to be able to relax knowing everything is vegan and organic where possible and also an eco friendly establishment.
Bed was very comfortable, rooms clean, can find no fault.
We were fortunate to have wonderful fellow guests, (you know who you are!).
Copperfields is minutes away from the beach and unspoilt Broadstairs is a joy. We did not use the car for three days but even so, Dover, Canterbury etc are a hop, skip and a jump away.
In the words of Arnie, "we will be back".

“Not to be missed!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 June 2011

A beautiful period house near the centre of Broadstairs. Close to the high street and seafront, and well placed for trains and local buses. The tastefully decorated rooms are very comfortable and warm with everything you could want provided. Roger and Sue look after your every need and nothing is too much trouble, and you don't have to be vegetarian to enjoy the excellent breakfasts. Local restrictions don't allow parking near the guest house, but you can usually find on-street parking nearby.
All the awards Copperfields have are well deserved.

“This guesthouse, in my view, is faultless”

Thoroughly nice people providing a first class service. Spotlessly clean, delicious breakfasts (you won't even notice they're vegetarian if you aren't one yourself - I'm not). Had lovely quiet room at the back (lots of garden birds - lovely). Minutes from sea, right near shops and close to really good evening meals: cheap fish and chip cafe; stylish, friendly and reasonable Italian restaurant; hotel restaurant with sea views

“the ideal guest house”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 May 2010

The warm welcome we received confirmed we had chosen well. Sue & Roger go that
extra mile to make sure everything is just right for a perfect stay in their lovely home. Beautiful comfortable rooms, plenty of toiletries, ample supply of drinks & delicious breakfasts makes Copperfields unbeatable in our opinion. Would return to Broadstairs just for the pleasure of staying here
