Kayakoy was near deserted when we visited in beginning October (and very atmospheric because of it) , and this lovely boutique hotel felt very peaceful and secluded. The owner Filiz was very welcoming and helpful. Staying at Misafir Evi felt very much like staying in her home - albeit a home with well-appointed rooms, satisfying buffet breakfast, and nicely designed grounds with swimming pool. Little touches throughout the hotel give it a nice lived-in, cozy feel.
Do note that the nightly rate indicated on the English website is per-person, and not per room at double occupancy. At the time of this review, this is specified only in the Turkish-Language site, so you may be misled into thinking that you've found an absolute bargain. As it is, the nightly rate is pretty much par for the course for bed and breakfasts in the region.
Liked: Being cozy while staying in a near-deserted ghost town.
Disliked: The shower offered very little water pressure.
