“Perfect for Couples, Families, Groups and just about anyone.”

Ibo and Sheri are very welcoming, its a family run private and quiet accomodation set in a rural rustic town. Kayakoy is quaint, unspoilt and has natural Turkish charm, just like Levissi Han. I have just returned from a group holiday of family and friends and my two children were never out of the pool! If you dont have a car to get about, right outside the front door is a Dolmus stop (minibus stop) which will take you to pretty much anywhere you need to get to.

We arrived in the early hours of the morning and Ibo had already taken the liberty of stocking our fridge and cupboards with the immediate bare essentials which was greatfully appreciated! The appartments are lovely and very homely and clean. They have a few dogs and cats there that are very friendly, as animal lovers this was of no problem to us but bare this in mind if you are not.

Levissi Han is located about 30mins drive from Olu Deniz which has the nicest beach and little shopping town and is about 20mins from Gemilar beach and the nearest main town is Hisaronu also about 10mins drive away.

If you are thinking of paying for a private transfer shuttle bus from the airport to Levissi Han I would suggest asking Ibo or Sheri for recommendations, although it was simple finding our shuttle bus when we arrived, the driver did not speak or read english and did not know how to get there and there was a few problems confirming the return shuttle the day before we left and they ended up charging us extra.

Ibo was very helpful and friendly and we had such a wonderful holiday. Im looking forward to when I can book my next family trip there!

Highlights:
1. Private and totally secure grounds so children can run around and you do not need to worry where they are.

2. Due to the privacy you pretty much have free rain of the grounds if you are travelling in a large group as there are only a handful of cottages and villas

3.Ibo has his own boat and will take you out on boat trips from Gamilar Beach so you can trust who you are travelling for the day with and what's included. His prices are not excessive either.

4.Any problems or concerns you may have, Ibo and Sheri are very helpful, Ibo was great with our shuttle minibus service that we had booked seperately! Next time, I will use their recommended transport company.

5.Dolmus (bus stop but by minibuses) stop right outside the front door.

6.Close to "Ghost Town" (one of the many attractions) when you speak to excursion sales men in Hisoronu town - no need to go to Hisoronu to book this its minutes away from Levessi Han and you can pay at the entrance. This is great for history lovers, but not for those with walking difficulties as its up on rocky steep hills.

7.Childrens activities really is the pool, my children was always in there but Ibo had already started on building a childrens play area as my group were leaving. I have given this a 4 on the rating because that is all there was but this was perfect for my children.

Considerations:
1.Being in a rural location you could feel a little isolated if you didnt have your own form of transport but Ibo is extremely helpful and the Dolmus is regular.

2.Although Ibo was extremely helpful friendly and so accomodating I would have liked a bit more clarity on costs of drinks and the little extras either before arrival or on arrival. I had no problems at all with anything but for someone who had a budget, I like to be certain on the little extras so that I can really relax and enjoy my holiday.

Tips:
1.Most shops take sterling pounds as well as Lira (as does Levessi Han) so be clear with the vendor what currency they are trading in.

2.Dalaman Airport charges £10 or 10 Lira on arrival per person (i cant remember which currency they wanted).

3.If your driving, be aware of speed bumps (not very visible at night and quite a shock when travelling at speed), also be aware of the winding roads especially through the hills, quite a drop on one side if your not looking properly.

To sum it up, it was prefect, comfortable, friendly, relaxing and just a really lovely holiday. Thank you Ibo and Sheri for everything, my family had a great holiday and we didnt want to leave!

Thanks again
Lorri, Wayne, Lia and Emily.

“Awful!!”

Do not waste your money going here. No air con (despite the references), wasp nest in the pool umbrellas, disfunctional kitchen, mice in the cupboards, too many chemicals in the pool (swimwear bleached), furniture falling apart - I could go on but don`t have time!
Don't expect any action if you complain while you're there and don't expect a reply if you complain when you get home.

“Place which we always return”

Wonderful welcome from the hosts and guest care.
Our cottage on front had a garden pleace, very romantic.
The bedroom is spacious and breezy with a direct entrance to the spacious bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with everything. The living room has a dining area and resting place, TV and fireplace.
The place has a great location. Without noisy tourist crowds. Nestled between green mountains and not far from several beautiful beaches.
Hosts organize tourist trips by private boat. Also and shopping tour if interested.
Best thing is the freedom to plan every night with something different. You may mix of quiet evenings with noisy bars located 5 minutes away by car or public transport. Homemade dinner or restaurant.
Proposed is a choice between a nice pool near to cottage or visit the beach.

Room Tip: Whichever you choose can not complain about anything. They are all good.

“We will definitely be back again this year”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 July 2011

Levissi Han is a wonderful, relaxing place. Sheri and Ibo are extremely friendly and hospitable and make you feel at home from the moment you step through the gates. All of the cottages are located around the large swimming pool and there is no fighting for sunbeds as is the case in most hotels. There are enough for everyone. All of the cottages are traditionally turkish with decorative plates and turkish rugs. The children could usually be found sitting in the shade with the family dogs, Santa, Skye and Max or swimming in the beautifully clean pool.

Ibo's cooking is amazing and I would recommend that you definitely join in the group meals which are traditional turkish specialities, either cooked on the barbeque or in the wood burning oven.

I can also highly recommend the boat trip. Ibo is very familiar with all of the beautful bays and again the lunch served on board is delicious.

Levissi Han is home from home, Turkish Style and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a truly relaxing holiday in a small traditional place where you know that you are in Turkey. The local supermarket is a 5 minute walk away and again the owners are very friendly and helpful although they do not speak a word of english. Kaya village has remained Turkish, unlike some of the surrounding resorts where you are surrounded by Azda and Primani and you could be in Blackpool, the only difference being the weather.

We are already looking at flights as we would love another holiday at Levissi Han before the winter. Thank you Ibo and Sheri for a wonderful relaxing holiday. Your Italian guest summed it up when he said that he felt like he had had an anaesthetic for a whole week.

“The place to be”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 March 2011

If you are looking for a relaxed holiday in a nice, charming, quiet environment,
than Kaya Village, Levissi Han, is the place to be!
You can spend your holiday in a cozy cottage with a lovely pool. If you need something, for example something from the supermarket, you just have to ask the owner, Ibo, and he will help you in the best way he can!
You can also make a fantastic boattrip and fish your own fish wich you can grill on the bbq and eat.
Levissi han is not far from Hisarönü and ölüdeniz, the most beatiful beach of Turkey!
