The name of this hotel leads you to believe that they are close to the Amsterdam Airport which is falls. There is no shuttle to this Best Western, we therefore had to take a 42 Euros for a taxi to the Hotel to find out that the restaurant is not open from Friday to Sunday inclusively. Since I walk with a cane, it was difficult to walk the distance to the nearest restaurant for our dinner. However, they did switch our room to the first floor because of my walking difficulties since they don't have an elevator. We also had to pay 12.5 Euros/ea for a very basic breakfast the following morning. They however managed to find us a taxi to return to the Airport the following day for 30 Euros. The hotel was very bare bones, no A/C, beds were comfortable. All in all we spent 97 Euros which we could have added to the price of the hotel and stay at a better hotel. If you have a car with a GPS, then it's good value for money if you book the room including the breakfast.

I choose this hotel, as I wanted a hotel close to the airport, and thought with name airport hotel, this hotel was the right choice. I was however dispointed that there was no shuttle
to the hotel, and was adviced that I could go by local bus.
Which meant that I had to take a taxi. That cost EURO 35. both ways = EURO 70 extra.
In the hotel I met other people that had chosen the hotel due to the name air port hotel,
but was disappointed that it wasthat far from the airport.

I was here with my boyfriend to visit Amsterdam. It was only half an hour by bus and then we were at the Leidsesquare, really conveniant!
Check-in was perfect, the ladies at the front desk were really nice, also the second evening in the bar we got excellent service. The ladies even took us out in Uithoorn! Small town but nice people.
We would definitely come back when we visit Amsterdam.

reserved this hotel for the free shuttle. When I arrived, they said there was no available shuttle, and told me to take the public bus(which stopped running 2 hours before I arrived) or take a cab(which would have cost 40 Euro). I called them( at my expense) and told them to cancel my reservation(hopefully I will get a refund)
.Tis is a problem that Best Western needs to address!
