My wife and I were the only two people in this place that resembles a YMCA or hostel more than a hotel. Upon registration I was asked if I'd like something to drink and I accepted two hot chocolates. When we checked out the owner was standing at the desk making sure that I paid 4 euros for the hot chocolates. All they had to do was tell me at the time.
The place is crazy. First of all besides the cocoa incident we were the only two people in the entire hotel!!! There were two people wandering around the grounds when we checked in and some guy came into the restaurant when we had breakfast but those were the only people we saw or heard.
The breakfast heated pot had two cold omelets in it plus there was juice and a little bread. Two omletes for two guests. It was very weird in this spartan( no carpet) basic place located in a difficult place to find or to find your way out of the next day.
The desk people were nice and the steamroom and sauna were nice.

I have stayed at the Boshotel twice in the past 3 months. It is a little remote, so you will want to have a car. The rooms are a little austere but very functional. There is wireless internet available throughout the hotel and it is free of charge. The hotel is a bit dated, but the staff are excellent and the bar and restaurant are excellent. There is also a spa on site where they are supposed to give excellent massages. I will definitely stay here again when I am in the Netherlands.
