We had a lovely time at the Park. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had a lovely greeting from a lady who was on each of the days Friday, Saturday and Sunday but didn't get her name. The food we ate in the bar was lovely. The breakfasts in the restaurant were beautiful and freshly cooked to order each morning. Mary served us there both days and she was great. As my husband said when we first met her, 'you just know she's competent and knows her job'. The rooms (258 & 252) were lovely - tall ceilings, comfortable bed, good furnishings. They looked recently decorated We had asked for quiet and so were at the back of the hotel but we didn't mind. Each of those rooms had a little balcony off them.The hotel had a lot of activity with parties and such, even though it was only the first weekend in February. You can walk in to the town in minutes and Dungarvan has some great shops and restaurants. Try Shaws department store, James Mens Shop. Merrys Gastro Pub is worth a visit and has locally brewed ales on tap, along with good food and great customer service. They also have music at night. Although we only live an hour and a half away, we will definitely be back at the Park. We already plan to go with friends in the near future.

I got a deal for this hotel with super value breaks and i really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is a 5 min walk away from central Dungarven but doest have all the traffic outside that other hotels would have, The hotel is really pretty on the outside and even nicer on the inside. The reception its self and the staff are very welcoming. Our room was lovely, very comfy bed, big new tv, lovely bathroom. On the sat night we ate and drank in the bar and it was very enjoyable. The leisure centre is an extra bonus. Great stay would recommend to a friend, the only thing i would suggest is that they put some tourist info about Dungarven itself rather then just the surrounding areas. Great hotel

Park Hotel is a decent hotel. Good value. Good food in the bar but lacked atmosphere (only people there on a Friday night). Leisure Centre is basic but alright, nothing too fancy. Rooms are quite nice though. Handy walk into Dungarvan too which is a nice little town.

We stayed at the hotel over a long weekend visiting relatives and celebrating a birthday. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The meals were very good and plentiful. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The swimming pool has seen better days but it did not stop us from having fun. The location is very nice overlooking the river and shops are very near too for any last minute or forgotten items. On the night of the celebration one of the function rooms was used which was beautifully decorated and the staff were very attentive.
