We have just returned from a stay in Hotel Garden. The first thing to say about this hotel is that it is in a great position for taking advantage of transport links being just across from the Train Station. Buses also stop just across from the hotel, including the free bus to Gardaland. The road outside the hotel is however fairly quiet and we experienced no problems with noise. The town centre is about a 10 minute walk where you can also catch a ferry. We didn't have a lake view but the convenience more than compensates!

The hotel itself delivered all we expected. Prior to our stay e-mails were answered quickly. Staff were helpful and friendly. Although we asked for a triple room we were given a sizeable quad room with a balcony. Bathroom was small but functional with wc, basin, bidet and shower and some toiletries were provided. Most importantly everything was very clean.

Breakfast was perfectly adequate for a three star hotel. A variety of cereals were provided although these did not seem to be major brands. Unlimited coffee was available via a machine together with fruit juices. Nice croissants were provided with a wide variety of jams, together with rolls, slices of cheese and ham, some fruit and yoghurt.

Unfortunately due to its location the hotel does not have a swimming pool which might be advantageous in summer months. However, it could be hardly be in a more convenient location and we would have no hesitation in staying there again.

I too stayed here with my husband a couple of years ago and could not fault it. We did not want to hire a car but wanted to see as much of the area as possible. The hotel is located beside the train station but it is not a noisy location. Easy access to Venice etc by train, bus to GardaLand stops right outside the door and a nice stroll to the town centre & lake.
The rooms were basic but clean and the resturant was ok for breakfast and snacks, we didn't have dinner there.
Would highly recommend this hotel for it's proximity to the train station if you don't feel like driving

my partner and i stayed here a couple of years ago. when i noticed that no one has reviewed it in tripadvisor, i thought i should because everyone should know what a wonderful hotel this is. the location, though not the prettiest, is exceptionally convenient, right next to the train station and with free private parking. it's just a short walk to the lake and the old town, which is lovely and has some nice restaurants. our room was spacious and modern with a very well-equipped bath with tub and shower, a large balcony, and air-conditioning. the breakfast was excellent. staff were friendly and accomodating, and helpful with restaurant recommendations. best of all, the room rate was one of the lowest in peschiera. it is a great base for exploring the veneto and lake garda.
