Pool area is excellent. The rest of the hotel is not really 4-star.

The staff are quite grumpy and unfriendly. I suspect they were given jobs because they are part of the family and not because they have great people skills.

Don't bother with the restaurant. The food is fine, but there are more welcoming places in town. The cover of 2.50 is probably the highest in town, but don't exceed your quota of olive oil or parmesan because the staff might take it away.

WiFi is available only in the lobby and costs €10! As if!

This place is fine, just don't expect 4-star quality or service.

It's the little things that count and this place leaves you feeling a bit cheated.

The hotel is centrally located but in my opinion, not necessarily a 4 star hotel. It needs some renovation and more charm. The pool area seems to be new but the rooms are furnished simply. The staff was friendly. Too much concrete and no color and no taste. The breakfast was o.k. For one or two nights o.k.

We had 9 great nights at La Fortuna Hotel. The staff were friendly and polite. The room were cleaned daily and were of good size. My only negative point would be that the walls thin and so you heard people flushing toilets and running water next to you. We had a room which looked onto the lovely pool area. The pool was cleaned every night. The breakfast was lovely. Excellent location as a nice walk to the shops, restaurants and ferry point where you can take a boat to visit other towns on the lake. The hotel is also just round the corner from the railway station. Here were took the train to visit Verona and Venice. Also at the station you can get the free buses to Gardaland and Movieland theme parks, which are not too far away. We had a great holiday here and would definately stay here again.

Had a lovely stay with my mother - staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is on a busy road but we were allocated rooms at the rear of the hotel overlooking the pool and gardens. The hotel is very close to the railway station and was very handy for main bus routes. However, it was a little way into town to get to the stop for the lakeside ferries - seemed a long way due to the very high temperatures while we were there but is probably only a 10 - 15 minute walk. As well as the hotel restaurant, there are plenty of places to eat within a few minutes walk.

Were very glad of the air conditioning in the rooms. The rooms were very spacious, with two double beds in each. Hotel was spotlessly clean.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Peschiera and would certainly stay at the Fortuna again.
