This is a wonderful hotel on the edge of Montalcino--perfectly located to both enjoy the town and head out for wine tasting at the local wineries. The front desk staff are so helpful (making reservations for us at wineries, lending us a corkscrew, making restaurant recommendations) and spoke perfect English. The rooms are so quaint and the maids cleaned our rooms perfectly!! Make sure to enjoy the terrace that overlooks the entire valley, and if you can ask for room 4 which is on the corner so has views from both sides of the room. There is free parking if you have a car. Also, the breakfast is lovely and the main front desk man makes a FANTASTIC cappucino!

This hotel is in a beautiful location. It's superb vistas, comfortable rooms, friendly and attentive staff made this a very pleasurable stay.

Great location. Easy to find. Parking available and close by! Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Nice comfortable room. View was ok. OUR ONLY problem was that the walls are PAPER thin and we had a room on the ground floor off of the lobby. It was very noisy and thus we didn't sleep well which then impacted our trip by slowing us down! I also felt it was a bit too expensive.

The evening and morning staff were extremely attentive and helpful staff went out of their way to assist us in getting a wine appointment and helping with various things. The room was small but clean and well appointed. Wifi worked. Everything as promised. I'd go there again in a heart beat.
