Stayed at this hotel in December 2011 and first impressions were very good.

Check in staff were helpful, friendly and we upgraded to a Lake View room with balcony.
The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Views were wonderful and the upgrade was worth every penny.

Location wise this hotel is a great choice, just over the road from the ferry stop and in a beautiful setting. It made an ideal base for visiting the surrounding area.

The staff were polite, helpful and worked really hard.

Everything was going so well......until we went down to dinner. The dining room was packed to the hilt with very little room to manoeuvre between the tables and the entrance/exit to the servery area of the dining room was far too small for the amount of people trying to get in and out. The noise levels also seemed to reverberate around the room. That said the food was good, there was plenty of choice and the staff were again brilliant.

The bar was also far too small for the amount of people staying there and there were not enough seats and tables. There is a large terraced seating area outside which I'm sure alleviates the problem in the summer months...not much use though when it's bitterly cold.

It was a nice hotel in a nice location...not sure I'd stay there again though.

A few years ago I had the priviledge of visiting this hotel and always promised myself I would return.
I am returning in June of this year with Shearings (The original Travel Agent).
Last time I was there the food and service was very good.
The all inclusive package is excellent value for money.
The staff were friendly and very efficient.
The Hotel is situated at a short walk to the ferry terminal which is great for lake cruises which you can plan yourself.
I am really looking forward to this next visit.

stayed at hotel brittannia in may and november . the hotel has amazing views of the lakes. our stay there was first class , the management and staff went out of there way to greet and meet you , the food was very good ,and our room was lovley with a great view of the lakes.
in november we went on the Bermino pass train to St Moritz and the views of the lakes were beautiful. would recommend this hotel .... first class and can't wait to go back again in 2012.

I went to the hotel in November 2011. It is a lovely hotel situated overlooking the lake. The food and service was very good. My room was lovely and clean, but as I had to pay extra for a single room I would like to have had a view of the lake, not the big metal fire escape at the back.
