This was a very nice hotel very handy for the beach and in between Cattolica, Riccione and Rimini, which we booked after reading good reviews on here. Walking around Misano, we didn't see any nicer looking hotels either, although because we travelled in late September many hotels and restaurants here were closed for the season.
Breakfast at the hotel was great and we stayed in for dinner a few times. The food was high quality other than one occasion when a pork tenderloin was undercooked, but it was great value for 3 courses plus salad buffet. Bar prices were very reasonable too.
The staff were friendly and Bridget and Marcello in particular were extremely helpful and pleasant. The same could not be said for a larger blonde lady (didn't get her name) who manned reception and bar, and everytime we asked her for something it seemed to be a bother, judging by the lack of smiles and banging the teapot about. However, every hotel seems to have a grump somewhere!
The room was fine and spacious. All the decor was in good order and we would recommend this hotel to anyone. We would be very happy to go back to the hotel and Misano as it is a bit more upmarket and although quieter, public transport makes getting to neighbouring resorts and further afield easy and cheap.
