“3rd visit to this wonderful hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 October 2011

Well, we came back to the Park Hotel Kursaal again this september for the Motogp racing at San Marino. The hotel has stayed the same wonderfully high standard and the welcome as friendly as always! We had our evening meals at the hotel this year for the first time....really lovely food, beautiful fish dishes and yummy sweets!!! We had a sea view room at the top this time...a must for the view!! Cant speak highly enough of this superb hotel, hope to see you next year! :)

Room Tip: If you are a lights sleeper, the trucks that take the rubbish very early , may disturb you if at the...

“Very pleasant, good value hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 October 2011

We found this to be a very good value hotel and it appears to be much nicer than most of the other 3 star hotels in the wider area. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and the bonus of a mini kitchen. The hotel was very clean and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was adequate with a wide choice, although the fruit juice and coffee from the machines were not very good. Tea and chocolate were fine, though. We didn't use the pool or facilities but the pool was a good size and behind the hotel, not by the roadside like some we saw. Misano is quiet, with many places closed, in the low season but there are still enough restaurants to find a decent meal. You have to take 2 buses to get into Rimini but they run late. Trains are also handy and the station about 5 minutes walk away. Overall, a good 3 star hotel and much nicer and better value than some 4 stars we've stayed at.

Room Tip: The residence accommodation has spacious rooms and kitchen facilities.

“Nice hotel, great location - highly recommended”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 November 2010

This was a very nice hotel very handy for the beach and in between Cattolica, Riccione and Rimini, which we booked after reading good reviews on here. Walking around Misano, we didn't see any nicer looking hotels either, although because we travelled in late September many hotels and restaurants here were closed for the season.

Breakfast at the hotel was great and we stayed in for dinner a few times. The food was high quality other than one occasion when a pork tenderloin was undercooked, but it was great value for 3 courses plus salad buffet. Bar prices were very reasonable too.

The staff were friendly and Bridget and Marcello in particular were extremely helpful and pleasant. The same could not be said for a larger blonde lady (didn't get her name) who manned reception and bar, and everytime we asked her for something it seemed to be a bother, judging by the lack of smiles and banging the teapot about. However, every hotel seems to have a grump somewhere!

The room was fine and spacious. All the decor was in good order and we would recommend this hotel to anyone. We would be very happy to go back to the hotel and Misano as it is a bit more upmarket and although quieter, public transport makes getting to neighbouring resorts and further afield easy and cheap.

“Excellent at the right time.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 October 2010

Hotel quality and cleanliness were excellent. Good breakfast and nice room which for us was too warm so affected sleep. dissappointed with facilties which are advertised but were not on offer, that is the spa etc, (which is why I booked it). 2 reasons given only open at weekends and you have to pay (ok with that) and had book it. So the spa jacuzzi and other facilities are on but we couldn't use them. We did quickly use the outside pool but it was a bit too cold for us, if going with young children the minimum depth is 1m40 to 3m max. Location is nice,in the quieter resort which like the other resorts along the coast shutsdown in the winter months, so if you like it quiet go October onwards. Rimini is a 40-50 min bus ride at 2.50 euro each way with a bus stop close to the hotel. It would be nice to go the resort in summer when it is fully open. A couple of restaurants where open in the resort the main one being Hochey which we used and they made you very welcome, excellent food and wine, good value both quantity/pricing and family friendly. Waikiki not very good and not really bothered in giving good service and over charged us and with it being quiet you would have thought they would be more welcoming. We went into Riccione as well and again good restaurants, buses run late into the evening and are reliable.
The hotel did an airport shuttle which we were very grateful of. We had an enjoyable stay, very relaxing and we would visit again but when it was in season.

went to this hotel last year for the Motogp racing as its nice and close to the circuit! about 40 minutes walk. Warm welcome as always and we had a lovely sea view room which was just beautiful in the mornings! Would recommend this hotel to anyone of any age as they cater for all and there is so much to do around the area. All the staff at the kursaal are extremely helpful with any questions you have and will do all they can for you, fantastic!
Cant wait to go back in 2011 now!!
