Staying at the Le Terrazze was a sweet dream

when we first entered the room and open the door to the balcony our breath was taken for 5 minutes, absolutely stunning... you feel immersed in the deep blue water and amazing Amalfi coast.

The hotel is small, quite and romantic. It is built on the cliff between Amalfi and Positano
the rooms are ok, basic, shiny and clean, bed is not great. breakfast was basic but good.

Just below the hotel there is a nice beach and an excellent (not expensive)local restaurant(just on the right next to the cliff) , one that you see the mother cooks for the guests, one that you can every ingredient tastes like heaven.

The hotel is 4 Km from Amalfi, the bus pass by every 40-60min to Amlafi or Positnao. so we just walked, maybe the best part of our trip. words can not describe the views.there are hidden gorgeous beaches on both sides, the direction of Amalfi and of Positano.

The hosting of Marcello was so warm and kind, you could feel his genuine care to us and the other guests. He made everything he could to make our stay perfect.

I have been traveling over two years in my life in over 30 countries and visited some of the most beautiful places in the world. I know my review is very passionate, but it is reflecting what Le Terrazze is and Marcello hosting, dont miss it for the world.

Our family stayed for a week , June 2010, and we could not believe how beautiful, clean and breathtaking this hotel is. Marcello, the owner , speaks perfect English and was very attentive to our family. It is worth upgrading to the superior view because the terrace off your room is enormous with beautiful lounge chairs and the room has a view of the beach and Amalfi. We will definitely return. It is a hidden gem and is magical!!

Stayed for a 3 day break fantastic views very helpful,english speaking staff, and good value for money. manager suggested a resturant 3/4 mile away (Trattoria da Ciccio) who came and collected us and return free of charge - 9 out of 10 excellent fresh fish freebie courses and unlimited Limonechello digestive.
Coast road "hairy" and very difficult to park, anywhere. Suggest the local bus,10 mins to Amalfi with stop outside hotel. Maybe a boat trip Amalfi - Positano and bus back to hotel.
Ravello also easily accessible by bus via Amalfi

We stayed in Le Terrazze for 6 nights on our honeymoon and it was wonderful. The staff were really friendly . The room was spotless as was the rest of the hotel. There was free air-conditioning and the breakfast was typically Italian and very tasty. The view from our room was breathtaking and we never quite got used to how stunning it was. The steps down to the beach and nearby restaurants were quite hard work but we got used to them after a few days. The beach was lovely even though it was small and the restaurants were great, the staff extremely welcoming and the food very tasty and not too expensive. Although not near a main town, Amalfi is only 15mins away by bus if you want a change of scenery. There is also a taxi boat service which we used a couple of times and Alex the young boatman was superb, taking us all the way to Salerno, giving us a full guided tour on the way. It was a wonderful start to our honeymoon and we can't wait to go back one day.
