It's ok, seen a lot of mixed reviews on this site so we were very apprehensive when got there. Rooms are very basic to be fair but they are clean!. Was a cheap holiday for 2 weeks and was value for what we paid. Maid's were good and room cleaned daily and towels changed frequently. We had room at front (opposite bungalows). Small balcony but had sun all day on it, which was fab. My niece & her husband had a bigger room and bigger balcony. Bathroom were poor in both rooms, must confess they could spend a bit of money & put in proper cubicle. When showering it doesn't drain properly & water goes everywhere. It was again, clean, though. Table & chairs in there are just garden furniture, that's a bit poor. Air conditioning is a rip off at 7 euros a night. But on the plus side, staff were friendly and the pool was clean and good size and pleasant to sit round. Gardens and surrounding area is well maintained. Pool bar was very much a left down though, very limit choice of food and not open to variation. Price wise average. Leo, who works the pool bar, was a happy chappy. It is a walking holiday (unless you hire a car) to get anywhere, 20 minute walk to the town & beach. Wasn't impressed by beach and wouldn't have wanted to spend a day there. Not a sandy beach. We eat where the Greeks eat at night and found some fantastic little tavernas. Filerimos Taverna became our favorite. Lovely friendly staff and good prices, great food. There is another small taverna back down the road from this one, lady doesn't speak so much English but food it great. Is on the road side. We found a nice route by turning right, directly when coming out of hotel. Much more pleasant than walking down the main road. The best supermarket, turn left out of hotel then left again at top of road, then walk down the road to bottom. Turn right and supermarket just there, next to jewellers (owned by same lady & hotel at end of road there). Gynnis the lady who owns them is a very friendly lady. You must go to Rhodes City, it is amazing and especially at night, it comes a live. Fantastic place, with all its cobbled back streets that wind and twist. A real maze of a place, fabulous. Some really lovely restaurants there too. Buses cheap to get there. Taxis unfortunately were on strike the whole 2 weeks we were there, so that was very disappointing as had to make sure didn't miss the last bus back. We hired a car for 3 days and Lindos is a must to visit!!
