“Professional, clean and high quality food.”

Great hotel with good facilities, friendly staff and an abundance of good food. You could reasonably spend 1-2 weeks there without wanting or needing to leave. As more adventurous travellers we hired a car for some visits and took the local bus to Rhodes town centre. Both easy to do and organise from inside the hotel.
The nearest beach is pebble and shale, but there are lots of cheap sunbeds for hire. Small children might prefer the pool and there is a childs pool to accomodate this too.
The twin room was very large with comfortably enough space for another single bed (which seemed regular practice for small groups).
Overall, a very enjoyable holiday enabled by (English fluent) knowledgeable staff.

Room Tip: Avoid room overlooking the pool, as this area doubles up for entertainment later.

“Such a family feel to this hotel.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 December 2011

We arrived at the hotel in the wee early hours, after much travelling, and were accomodated in the basement rooms - being told at the time that these were very temporary and we would be moved to our proper rooms by midday. The baesment rooms were not very nice, but served a purpose - SLEEP.

We got up to explore a few hours later and told our rooms were now available. We migrated to these and they were so much nicer, big airey and well appointed.

We then went to look around and first impression was it was a very small hotel and there may not be enough facilities to go round. Throughout the two weeks we were there this never proved to be the case, it is just that this day and age hotels seem so HUGE and this was much more personnal.

Food was lovely, the hotel was great, as a base it was ideal, and the accomodations were also more than adequate. But all of that pails to insignificance when it comes to the staff. From the pool cleaners in the morning to the managers steering the ship (Sofia) everybody was so pleasant and it is this that made the stay so memorable - my kids would go back again tomorrow! The animation team tried to engage everybody but also knew when to take no for an answer - so a special mention for Tomas, Julius, Georgina and Desmond.

Seeing as we stayed in the height of the season - 8th August for 2 weeks. we never had to wait long for a table at the resaruant - which in itself surprised us as a family of 5 we are used to having to wait for 2 tables to be joined up- the queue at the bar was never longer than 5 minutes, and everyone seemed to have time for you.

During our stay there was a very drunk Russian customer who was caiusing a bit of trouble, this was dealt with immediatley and in a very professional manner - he was not allowed alcohol for the rest of his stay!!

Whilst we were there we as a faminly had struck up a friendship with the staff, and when it was the owners grandsons birthday I came and had cake with them all and took the photos for them - which really did make it feel a home from home.

So many thanks to EVERYONE at the hotel - it has been our best holiday yet, and will be a hard act to follow.........maybe come back and see you soon.

I went to Ialyassos Bay with my husband the last week of the season. We were not sure what to expect (as usual the reviews were mixed) We arrived in the early hours of Sunday morning, so couldn't see a lot. However, I did have a moment of 'what have we done' as it appeared to be in the middle of nowhere! We were greeted warmly at reception and given clear directions to our room. We had a bungalow which was spacious and very clean. When we went for lunch, there was plenty of choice, unfortunately the hot food wasn't! the staff were very efficient without being intrusive. All of this continued at every meal throughout our stay. A special mention should be given to Christina on reception she was wonderful and more than happy to help. Due to the time of our stay there was no entertainment at all - some music (that could be heard) would have been nice during the evenings. we cannot fault the hotel staff, pity the same could not be said for our Olympic Holidays rep. The bar man was pleasant and served us quickly. Pool area was great, no need to reserve sun beds (though some still did!!) Service in the snack bar was again quick and at times the food was hotter. At the end of the day all we can say is great staff, lovely hotel would go back again (though not at the end of the season)

Room Tip: try and get a bungalow.

“Great staff, average hotel.”

This was our third visit to the area, and the first time at this hotel. First impressions; Good quick check in by competent reception staff. We stayed in a garden apartment which was spacious, quiet and clean. The hotel, seemed very quiet, especially in the evening in the bar which somehow lacked any atmosphere. No entertainment as it was late in the season. All areas inside and outside by the pool were kept very clean. The restaurant was spacious, and the food was good with alot of choice. Salads were mostly pre-mixed and it would have been nice just to have lettuce and other salad ingredients seperate to make your own. The bus stop for Rhodes town is on the main road at the junction which is about 5 minues walk. The old town is definately worth a visit, and is always buzzing with people. Cruise ships visiting can increase the numbers considerably. All in all, we would probably try another area if we visited Rhodes again, but the area is nice with the usual shops, cafes and tavernas within a short walk.

Room Tip: We stayed in both the garden apartments, and also the hotel room as we were delayed 12 hours in the...

“First Time In Greece, Rhodos.”

This was my first trip to a Greek resort. I was really impressed by the Hotel and the staff, nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel was clean, comfortable and above all very very friendly. Special mention goes to the bar staff Eleana and Vesillious ( hope i spelt that right).
I just wish I had spent the hotter summer months here, the swimming pool was just a little cold for me.
No need to worry about crossing roads as the beach (shingle) was just a few minutes walk from the from the front door. Even the little train that ran from the footpath outside the Hotel was well worth a ride so you could get to know the surrounding area.
Would not hesitate to recommend this Hotel to friends and family.
Looking forward to returning in 2012.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are pleasant and do not get the full force of the sun, which at times can be just too...
