“A special little hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 May 2011

This hotel you either like or dislike. Me and my friends loved it. Hid in a narrow alley, just a few metres from the main street of Old Town. After making a phone-call (number on the door) we were met by the very friendly owner Marc, and shown up a narrow staircase. Very high ceilings, all walls and shelfs decorated with items that takes time to study. Most floors out of level. Just 7 rooms, so I question the title Hotel, I felt more like B/B, but a very nice one. The small room was very small and the large rooms adequate. Sultan suite had a wonderful large terrace with vieuw all over the old town. Good breakfast served by Marc, who also showed us to a very nice little neighbourhood taverna. You have to be your own receptionist, a sign on the door reminding you to lock the door when coming or going. Location are great if you are looking for the Old Town, not if you are looking for the beaches. Rather close to the port for the Dodekanese ferries and not far from bus station and buses for Lindos. As many Greek accomodations they have a free Wi-Fi. I absolutely reccomend Isole to my friends.

Room Tip: Try the Sultan Suite on the top floor

“Lovely and Beatiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2011

We stayed only for 3 nights in Rhodes and every second was perfect because of the place we stayed. The lady that runs it was so friendly
In the first moments of arrival, Luisa began serving us. She wellcomed us warmly when we arrived from the ferry and offered us one cold drink, making us feel at home.
Since we had booked the rooms only 2 weeks before (Even in high season), we didn't expect too much. A good stay for the price we paid, rooms were clean.
The location is in the heart of the Old City. Very close to everywhere!!
Do not expect much from the rooms. Isole is not a hotel, but also here is not a pension. It is like a house of yours. The blue windows, white high ceilings..Everything was perfect, but i should say that the best is the dialog of Luisa and Guido with the customers. This is called friendship.

“One of the warmest, friendliest hotel owners I've ever met.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 August 2010

I stayed for just one night and I wish I'd had longer. Louisa is such a fantastic, worldly, genuinely interested women I've ever met. The hotel is in a great location in the old town but as cabs can't drive you there you have to carry your luggage. Worth it to me though, to be in an oasis in the heart of the old city. I had a small room but with just 1 person I didn't need any more room. More importantly the room was very clean. Great value, a fun, interesting environment and ten out of ten for Louisa. A real pleasure.

“Great value in the heart of Rhodes Town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 July 2010

I stayed at the Hotel Isole for a night last month (July 2010). The city is very crowded in the summer but the hotel was quiet and calm, despite being ideally located just off the main shopping street. It's tucked away around a corner down a narrow alley, and the room felt like a little hideaway. The owners were very welcoming and the hotel is a great value. I'd recommend any solo traveler, or couple on a budget, to base yourself here and enjoy exploring Rhodes.
Everything is small, like all of medieval Rhodes, but clean, well kept, and with a good shower. Decor is basic but again clean and very sufficient.
