We stayed at the Kipriotis for one week, bed and breakfast. A lovely, clean hotel with friendly staff. Air conditioning in the room was a godsend as it was so hot the week we stayed.
The bedrooms are fairly standard but as I said clean and a maid service 6 times a week.
The hotel pool was busy but we always managed to get a sunbed each day.
The breakfast was varied, continental or hot if you wanted it. The hotel offered various theme nights, including a greek night which fell on the Saturday we arrived and left so unfortunately we missed it, but were told they were great nights.
Rhodes Town is just beautiful. The hotel was across the road from the beach., There are two beaches in Rhodes Town, the one opposite the hotel is shingle and known as the Windy Beach. We were so grateful for the wind as it helped cool the temperature down a little.
We could walk into the new town in about 5 minutes and through there onto the old town in about 20 minutes. There are numerous bars and restaurants and we had some lovely meals. Next time we will also take advantage of some of the numerous boat trips available from the Harbour.
It was my first trip to Rhodes and it wont be my last - I absolutely loved it there and would recommend the Kipriotis hotel to any of my friends to stay.

I stayed at the hotel with my friend 11 days. The staff (including 24 hrs reception, housekeeping etc) was very nice, friendly and polite. The location was splendid. Very close to the "windy beach" and to the historical center at the same time. The room with a balcony we got was very nice and clean. We had halfboard and the food was delicious and there was a plenty of it, some people found it ordinary, but they have to consider that the hotel is 3*. In my opinion more fruit would make it even better. At the time there were guests mainly from Scandinavia and Russia. The town itself offers great variety of sightseeing spots. There are bars and cafes all around. We loved the Veto Cafeteria. And of course you have to visit the "Bar Street" if you want to move your body at the disco :)) All in all we had great time!

The room was great, nice and clean. Love the air-con, couldnt have survived without it! We stayed for two weeks, B and B and had breakfast maybe twice, didnt enjoy it. But there is many places close by where we ate. The swimming pool is nice and always had somewhere to lay. Not many English people but thats not much of a problem. The location is good, only a short walk to the centre of the new town and lots of nice bars on the way! You should definatly eat at a restaurant called Thomas's, its just as you get to the new town and it has the most beautiful food, we went twice (and we never do that!) Be careful in the old time when buying drinks/food, they can sometimes charge whatever they feel like...usually a lot! Overall a lovely lovely place, both hotel and Rhodes Town :)

Nice clean Hotel close to the beach. It is a fair way from the old town, but the walk along the water front (approximately 20mins) to the old town is brilliant. The food was tasty without being excellent, but definitely acceptable.
The staff didn't speak the best English. They were very friendly but weren't able to answer a lot of our questions regarding directions around town, tours etc...
