Having travelled literary across the world, I do agree with most of reviewers that this is a relatively nice hotel, in a nice location, with great food and clean. Make sure you DO NOT book the side see view (it is seriously dated!!!). We had probs with the air conditioning which affects your sleep quality.
Also, the spa is relatively small and the treatments are rather expensive for what they can offer (the jacuzzi is not in operation).
My main concern would have to do with the Esperides car renting service available on site. The cars are not well kept at all (we faced serious problems with the brakes of the Fiat Punto we hired). The 20% discount you get for hiring from them while being a guest of the hotel is never enough for the serious mechanical probs you may face while driving. Also, Mrs Daggy there suggests that we do not need to worry about filling up the car with petrol before returning it, as there is a petrol station right where we hire the car. This is true. Howerer, the price of the petrol there is extraordinary!!!!! While you can buy petrol for approximately 1,45 euros if you go down towards the city (on the left hand side there is a super market), the price there is 1,60 euros. Given the fact that this price is well above the most expensive price you can get in Greece at the moment, the receipt you get writes that the price was 1,38 (though with the correct total ammount). This is just illegal!!!
Finally, if you are a man do get many pants with you!!! The have this stupid dress code for long pants during dinner which personally I find annoying. I am on a leisure holiday and don't particularly enjoy having a guy telling me that I cannot enter the restaurant because I am not dressed appropriately. Either way, this is not a true 5 star hotel (like the nearby ones) where the entire environment inspires you to dress up!!!
