“Nice hotel, just be careful with the car renting service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 August 2010

Having travelled literary across the world, I do agree with most of reviewers that this is a relatively nice hotel, in a nice location, with great food and clean. Make sure you DO NOT book the side see view (it is seriously dated!!!). We had probs with the air conditioning which affects your sleep quality.

Also, the spa is relatively small and the treatments are rather expensive for what they can offer (the jacuzzi is not in operation).

My main concern would have to do with the Esperides car renting service available on site. The cars are not well kept at all (we faced serious problems with the brakes of the Fiat Punto we hired). The 20% discount you get for hiring from them while being a guest of the hotel is never enough for the serious mechanical probs you may face while driving. Also, Mrs Daggy there suggests that we do not need to worry about filling up the car with petrol before returning it, as there is a petrol station right where we hire the car. This is true. Howerer, the price of the petrol there is extraordinary!!!!! While you can buy petrol for approximately 1,45 euros if you go down towards the city (on the left hand side there is a super market), the price there is 1,60 euros. Given the fact that this price is well above the most expensive price you can get in Greece at the moment, the receipt you get writes that the price was 1,38 (though with the correct total ammount). This is just illegal!!!

Finally, if you are a man do get many pants with you!!! The have this stupid dress code for long pants during dinner which personally I find annoying. I am on a leisure holiday and don't particularly enjoy having a guy telling me that I cannot enter the restaurant because I am not dressed appropriately. Either way, this is not a true 5 star hotel (like the nearby ones) where the entire environment inspires you to dress up!!!

“ESPORAS PALACE HOTE”

This hotel was very nice the room we had had not been modernised like allot of the rooms. We had couple of problems with the fridge and aircon but they sorted it out.
There was one other couple from England at this hotel who were very nice. We were the only English people there.
I would not go to this hotel again the food was very good if you liked cheese. (I cannot stand it) so the smell every meal time was not pleasant for me.
I would reccommend to others.
The staff were very nice.

“Nice hotel, with great buffet”

A friend and I stayed in this hotel in May 2008 and it was a great experience. The only thing I would recommend is to insist on a renovated room. We booked half-seaside view and our room was a non renovated one and looked therefore somehow old and a bit shaby but still very clean. The rest of the hotel was much better. The meals (we had booked breakfast and lunch) were extraordinary and the pool as well as the beach were very clean. The staff was very friendly and the number of guests who were here not for the first time, shows that it is a pleasant thing to stay in Esperos Village.
Some lokal person told us, this hotel is said to have the best kitchen in Faliraki!

“GREAT HOTEL”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 June 2008

Hotel esperos palace....you don't need to go anywhere else...it's a great hotel!

The rooms are great...they have everything....satellite Tv, air condition, big balcony, nice bed...but we were in the suit....by mistake....;) nice....

The hotel has 2 swimming-pools, Lazy- river, towels and sun beds are for free. It has fitness, sauna, small shop, bars etc.

The food was excellent and as many as you want.....

If you are a man...take long pants with you....you are not allowed to go to the dining room in shorts!!!!.....Lucky us...we had jeans with us ;)

The hotel is right on the beautiful beach and the sea is very clean.
The hotel is about 3 kilometers from Faliraki center, you should get there with taxi or by bus.
Rhodes town is about 20 minutes from the hotel, by bus.
The bus connections are very good so there are no problems to get to Rhodes town.

It's also very easy to rent a car. Car rental is just about 200 meters from the hotel. It's worth to rent a car, because you can see the whole island in one day.

Just nearby there is hotel esperides beach, which seems nice too....it's in the same chain of hotels...so you can go to swim there too........
But believe me..there is no need....Hotel Esperos palace is just enough.....

I totally recommend it.....

  • Liked — great room, great swimming pool, great baech, good bus connections
  • Disliked — hm, that's hard......

“Best holiday and hotel ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 September 2007

I cannot understand how anyone could moan about this hotel. The staff were excellent, food was amazing and the location was fantastic. There were not many English in the hotel but we were on holiday so we never spent much time there so it was not a big problem. Faliraki is brilliant only 1 euro on the bus and these run all night. Overall I cannot think of one bad thing to say about this hotel, I would highly recommend this hotel to people of all ages, I am 23 and went with my boyfriend and I very much doubt I will ever have a better time anywhere else. Do not worry about the bad reviews I think these people must be talking about another hotel!!
