It's a very cute hotel, very Greece-like. However, I was so disappointed (and surprised) to find that they didn't provide ANY toiletries at the hotel! No shampoo or soap or anything. The towels also felt like sand paper. Aside from that, the hotel wasn't bad. Breakfast was typical - nothing to rave about, but the staff were very friendly and the location was pretty decent since it was right on the beach. There are many restaurants nearby that you can walk to, so that was pretty convenient too.

This is a lovely small and friendly hotel - the owners and everybody associated were so friendly and helpful. I went with my 2 sons (16 and 14) - the room was great (3 single beds, rather than a double and single as you often find) - good size, good air conditioning, bathroom etc.
It is right on the beach, with a great little bar/restaurant at the entrance.
Perissa was really good - black beach, which is more grit than sand, but still absolutely fine - clean and safe. Lovely warm water. Various watersports. Plenty of good restaurants.

Location is great, right by the beach and it offers free beach umbellas. There is also a bus stop nearby so you can access other sites on the island easily.
The rooms were "ok". They did not offer any bars of soap, shampoo, etc. like the other local hotels/b&bs. The water also smelled badly and it was a common complaint from many people but no one ever offered a good explanation. The rooms were not very clean e.g. the refrigerator was dirty.
The continental breakfast was very disappointing, few poorly baked croissants and room temperature scrambled eggs.
The wifi was very slow/inaccessible.

Thoroughly recommend this place to anyone looking for relaxation and sunshine.
I'd agree with others when saying the breakfast is poor, beds are a bit uncomfortable and the sun on your balcony is limited to mornings - but there is so much more to a holiday than these factors. Everyone at the hotel and bar are friendly and helpful without being over bearing (Yannis is the young man who delivers drinks and attracts customers in). The hotel is clean (rooms cleaned every day with fresh towels supplied daily).
The hotel location was perfect for us - right on the beach with plenty of options for food and drink within walking distance. This is a beach resort suited to those wanting to get away from things and have the occasional day trip to beautiful Oia or Fira. If you are 20 something and want late night partying from your holidays then I wouldnt advise this resort.
