“Perfect location, brilliant hosts, lovely hotel.”

My boyfriend and I stayed at Villa Clio for 2 weeks in September 2011.

We chose Villa Clio as were keen to stay on the island for as long as possible without breaking the bank! We absolutely loved it!

First of all, the location is great. It's a 5 minute walk from Perissa Beach (and all of the restaurants along the waterfront). There is also a big supermarket 5 minutes in the other direction. It's on a really quiet road too - very peaceful!

We stayed in a double studio. The room was basic but had everything we needed. The room and bathroom were made spotlessly clean every day. It also had its own fridge, little hob, sink and balcony.

The pool area is lovely. Good size swimming pool (also spotlessly clean every day) and a lovely patio with sunbeds.

Breakfast (an extra 4 euro each) was lovely - coffee, juice, bread, jam and butter. I can't eat bread, so Eleni was more than happy to give me yoghurt and honey every day.

The owners, Eleni and Adonis, can't do enough for you. They're so helpful and friendly without being intrusive. We even got quite a few free drinks when we were playing cards on our balcony!

Overall, an absolute steal. You don't need a restaurant in the hotel with such a huge variety of places to eat on the seafront. We would definitely recommend Villa Clio.

Thank you so much Eleni and Adonis for such a fabulous stay!”

This was our 2nd time at Villa Clio & we would thoroughly recommend it to anyone - the accommodation is very clean and well-maintained, the pool is superb and the hosts (Eleni and Adonis) make you feel like one of the family. The Clio also has a very cosmopolitan feel about it with people from other countries staying there, it's so interesting & enjoyable to be the company of people from other countries as well as from the UK.... we have made some new friends.. ... The Clio was also really conveniently situated - just a short walk from the beach and shops.
Thank you again Eleni and Adonis for making our holiday so special...
Until Next Year......... Can't wait ha ha

“Simple, clean and friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2011

The price is right, the place simple, great pool area, 3-4 min walk from beach, not disturbed by night-life - I highly reccomend it! Friendly hosts as well. I would try to get a room with a sea-view.

“Very nice”

This is a very clean, well located, but basic 2 star hotel and the couple who run it are very friendly. Towels changed every day and as its been mentioned, there is a great pool which its nice to chill out by rather than the nearby beach. We never made it in time for breakfast, so cant comment on that. We would return.

Room Tip: Our upstairs room at the back of the property was lovely and queit

“It's that good I'm writing again - Just love Eleni, Adonis & Clio!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 September 2011

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel but as this was an extra special occassion I feel necessary to write & review again to reiterate how great the owners and the hotel are!

We previously got engaged in Santorini in 2009 & we got married in Santorini this June so with friends & family all coming out we wanted to all stay together, give them a traditional greek experience in a clean friendly hotel and also be close to our wedding location. Having stayed at Villa Clio before there was no other choice following our previous experiences in Perissa. We have made great friends there and Eleni & Adonis feel like our extended greek family. Having booked well in advance we were able to get rooms reserved with pool views and also those to accommodate younger children on the ground floor where you could sit outside etc.

We received the most warm reception imaginable on arrival - big hugs from Eleni & Adonis, it really did feel like coming back home - they were so pleased to see us. They also greeted our friends & family with the same reception.

Eleni & Adonis worked so hard to ensure all our guests we're happy and had everything they needed throughout our stay. We felt like royalty! The hotel itself was spotlessly clean as usual including the wonderful pool. The rooms are fairly basic but so clean and spacious and have everything needed including fan, TV, fridge & balcony. The hotel is also so reasonably priced, close to the beach, bars, taverna's in Perissa it made it ideal for everyone to stay at. There is also WiFi available in the hotel reception & Eleni is on hand to make you a salad or cook you a lunch for a nominal fee.

Our wedding was at Suites of the Gods in Megalochori (Eleni's home town) so she was also thrilled when we invited her to the ceremony and we were honoured she turned up to share our special day.

Can't say enough about the hotel and more so the owners which really make the place special. Absolutely perfect for those wishing to stay in Perissa, it doesn't have the Caldera view but is such reasonable value for money and Eleni & Adonis hospitality makes it priceless. All our family & friends were so impressed and have said they have never been anywhere so friendly.

We can't wait to come back and stay here and see them again as soon as possible!

Thankyou Eleni & Adonis again

PS I have plenty of pictures so PM me if you want hotel photo's etc
