“A little strange”

This hotel was not the highlight of our trip. The main issue was on check in -- each one of us we were asked for all kind of personal information -- passport number, birthday, etc. Most of us put down fake information.

Even if this hotel was not going to steal our identities, it's just not safe to put down this sort of info. Someone could go through the trash and find the cards we filled out, then use it to access our bank records, etc. If you go here and they want your personal information, be warned! They never bothered us for putting down fake info.

The rooms were decent, they all had a small kitchen, A/C and tiny bathrooms. Our group was split in two, my half only had some minor lighting issues, but the other half had a bathroom that had a serious plumbing issue which was not resolved.

The free breakfast should be avoided, some of my group had serious stomach issues every day after eating the food here. As for other amenities, there was a pool, a bar, and a wifi connection which was NOT free. It was actually quite expensive. A few places down the street offered free wifi, which were preferable.

The staff did not seem sympathetic with any of our problems. I'd say at a different hotel next time.

“Great Staff. Questionable Value for Money.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 August 2010

Since we were going to stay 5 nights in this location, which for us is a long time, we thought it would be a good idea to spend a bit more than we usually do. We spent appx. EUR 100 per night and expected a very nice hotel for this amount. Perhaps I was mistaken though.

Let me first start by saying the staff was excellent and would do whatever it would take to make you stay there as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We were however disappointed with the following: 1. size of room 2. size of bed for 2 people 3. quality of room 4. breakfast very basic

All in all, we still had an enjoyable stay here due to the attention give by the staff.

“Happy with our stay”

We booked a charter on Internet for this trip. Often the pictures are "improved" to make the hotels look better but on our arrival we were happy to see that the hotel looke like in the pictures. At first we got a room in the new part of the hotel which was a dissapointment as it felt very unfinished and after a couple of phonecalls to the travel agency and a conversation with the hotel manager we were moved to another room in the old part which we were very happy with. The pool was good size. Breakfest was good and served on an outdoor terrace. Cleaning could be more thorough. Laundry service was offered however it is cheaper to go to the main street and get the laundry done there for 8 EUR a bucket (and not per piece!!). All in all we were happy and could be staying at Kouros again. The hotel location was perfect for us, close to the main street with vehicle rentals, laundry and supermarket, close to the beach with restaurants and of course the beack. The big plus staying in Perissa is much less people on the beach, cleaner and not many families with small children. We went over with the boat taxi one day to Kamari and it was a big dissapointment after out perfectly balanced days on Perissa/Perivolos beaches.

“Cosy hotel with relaxing atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 June 2010

Nice little hotel with friendly staff, beautiful flowers, relaxing atmosphere - everything you need to wind down and enjoy your holiday. We spent a week there with our 19 months old son and had nothing to complain about. The hotel provided us with a cot in the room, a baby chair you can fix on the table at breakfast, there was also some a small bicycle we could take when we went for a walk, and a dinghy we could use in the swimming pool - small things but they truly make a difference when travelling with a child.
The breakfast was served on an upper terrace which used to look over the sea but unfortunately at the moment there are some half-finished buildings blocking the view. As for the breakfast, there is cereal, bread, toast, butter, jam, honey, hazelnut spread, cheese, ham, creamy greek yoghurt, fruits, olives, tomatoe, paprika, feta, bacon, eggs, boiled eegs, little sausages and pastries, and you can drink tea, coffe, milk or orange juice (this latter is not very tasty but the rest is OK).
At the pool the sunbeds, umbrellas and towels are for free, and there is a small pool bar open from 11 to 23, with light snacks served between 12 and 15. The beach is a 50 m walk from the hotel with a variety of bars and restaurants. At night the hotel is quiet, the beds are comfortable, and all the rooms are equipped with air-conditioning.
I would recommend this hotel to people who search for something simple yet special.

“Great little hotel”

Kouros Village was a nice little hotel with friendly staff. The location is quiet and off of the main path, which made for a nice relaxing stay. The village of Perisa is short 5 minute walks, as is the beach. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
