We stayed at the Mark and Joanna Studios in Perissa from June 2 to June 16. The apartments are situated at the back of the resort close to the path to Ancient Thira and under the little church that sits part way up the rock. This was ideal for us at it was quiet and about a 10 min walk to the town and beach.
At first site our room in the accommodation seemed rather small and lacking in natural light (we were in room 16) but hey we were only going to sleep in the room. One room had a double bed, wardrobe, bedside cabinet and dressing table. There was aircon, TV and a hair drier (we did not use the aircon, fee payable). Space was so tight that the TV was on a bracket up high. Off was a small kitchen with small window, cupboard, fridge, two ring hot plate, coffee maker (no kettle) and half size table and two chairs. We did not cook as we always eat out just having a simple breakfast. Knives seemed a bit odd and limited for eating. I think that you would struggle to have space to eat anywhere inside in this accommodation. Off this was a bath room with again a half sized shower, full width but half deep, my shoulders would not fit across without touching the wall and curtain. Again a half size hand wash basin but a full size toilet! Outside (actually at the top of the access steps) were two chairs a table and a clothes hanger/drier.
The fridge comes stocked with juice, beer, water etc with one bottle of water free the rest you pat for as you use it.
We saw inside one other room(s) and this was what you would expect to be and a normal size so perhaps we were just unlucky.
The towels and sheets were changed about every 3 days and it was very clean.
Some of that sounds rather negative but in fact it is a very friendly place and the owners(?) were very helpful and we did not ask to be moved because it just got to feel like home (we are very adaptable!).
There is a small swimming pool which was very nice just to have a dip after the walk back from the beach.
I can not understand the comments by other on the lack of parking. There seemed to be loads of space for parking all around the building.

We have been in this hotel at about 5 years before!And from then, every year I stay in the same hotel.And do you know why?!!Because, first of all the staff is too kind and extremelly friendly! Secondly the rooms are very clean!Every day a cute woman clean our room! Also the hotel is located in a very quite place and we could relax there!The main town is about 300m far and the beach is about 400m long!I RECCOMENT THESE HOTEL TO EVERYBODY!

Thomas Cook's description of the word 'apartment' is very loose! Very disappointed and certainly not up to the standard i would expect from Thomas Cook.

We found these studios as we were island hopping in2006 as indipendant travelers, and have now stayed twice and are going back this year.
Rooms are excellent as are the staff, who provide all the help you need.
