On arrival we were greeted by a lovely woman, not in a reception behind a desk but as we got to the end of the cobbled, tree bordered drive. She knew who we were and how long we were staying, showed us straight to our studio and went to sort the usual paperwork and brought it to us! We were given mineral water to last us until our first shop (tap water on the island is not suitable to drink) and offered local food which the family had made for a national celebration. The room was ideal, a bed, a toilet and shower, a kitchen and a balcony with seating to eat on on the beautiful evenings. It had a very family feel and was very relaxed, an afternoon by the pool is worthwhile and all the other guests were pleasant people who also wanted to relax.
Situated within walking distance of the beach but far enough away not to be bothered by the lively night life and other more 'party like' hotels. It was by far the greenest and most luscious of the hotels, with obviously cared for vegetation with added to the beauty and atmosphere.
After seeing the whole island (a car is only 35€ a day and in one day you can do the island twice!) Perissa is the best location for beach time on the famous black beach.
If you are looking for a self catering or bed only type accommodation, for a chance to relax and do your own thing, this is the place to stay in Perissa.

We found Evizorzia Villas in an unexpected lush and green surrounding. Basic facilities yet clean and well placed. They have a lovely pool area, sometimes it was so quiet around it that it was like having our own private pool.
Giannis the owner is a very friendly and helpful host, always there when you need him but discrete and taking a back seat. We would highly recommend the place.

Will echo what everybody else said here, however there are
some things to be aware of :

- Sits 10 mins above the town
This means that whilst you have a pleasant walk downhill when going out,
the return is uphill and not nice in the midday sun.

-Rooms
The rooms are clean but basic, mine had an air conditioner but for the life of me I could not find the remote control for it resulting in me having to stand on a chair and turn it on manually whenever I wanted aircon.

- No internet
This shouldn't be an issue if you have come here to relax, but if you, like I, use the internet for recreational purposes and to discover new things to do whilst here, the lack of wired or wireless internet (or even a terminal?) can be annoying.
There are internet cafes in town or you can use 3G/GPRS if you have. (note only cosmote has 3G coverage here, wind has only GPRS)

- Chapel services from 8AM
The private chapel in the grounds of the villas *can* ring its bells from 8AM local
time and you *may* hear services being performed.

-Pool
The pool is very small and only open from 9AM to 8PM. Max Depth ~1.5M

-Staff
Owner is very friendly and most helpful, the room cleaning service is also spectacular, they also picked up clothes and attempted to put them in our suitcases resulting in me finding a bra in mine.

In all, if I stayed in Perissa again it would almost certainly be here, the place is charming and superb value for money.

We've just had the most fantastic stay in this place. It's very well proportioned and price-effective. Very relaxing, charming, lovely and comfortable place. The owner is just fantastic, the place is lovely and Silvia is just great. Very honest people, very prudent and not annoying at all, but they are available in case of need.
Normally it is hard that a place "stays in my heart", but this time, Evizorzia Villas and Santorini itself hit the target!!!
I REALLY recommend this place to anyone, I really loved the place.
