We searched and searched for a hotel or apartment without many stairs (difficult in Santorini) , preferably with a view, and on a budget of 140euro a day. We eventually chose Reviere Traditional Apartments in Firostefanii. The location was excellant. We reallly wanted to stay in Thira originally, but were so glad that we chose Firostefani instead.
The apartments were close to the bus stop on the main road and was about a 30 min walk along the path over the cliffs to Thira. There were lots of excellant restaurants near by with food at very reasonable prices.
The apartments were very clean and quite large studio apartments that were all newly renovated and so comfortable. We had one of the apartments near the pool and the only problem with that was there was a large wedding party of english staying there, who completely took over the pool and the terrace outside our apartment day and night.
They were loud and drank all day and night. The management tried to control them but they refused to obey the rules of the apartments or the instructions from the staff.
This spoiled our stay a little but we would definately return to these apartments, however we would chose one of the apartments upstairs at the back of the hotel and not one of the rooms near the pool. Nikolina and heer sister went out of their way to make our stay so comfortable and to apologise for the lound english party. One morning I asked if some white trousers that I had spilt food on could be laundered. Even though the hotel didnt do laundry Nikolina insisted that I give them to her and her mum washed and ironed them for me at no charge. This hotel doesnt have a view, so be aware of that, however it is a very very comfortable, convenient place to stay.

We Was past may with my wife in Santorini and it was a wonderful experience. all people in Thira (santorini) are special. I recomend Reverie Apartments because it belongs to a family that makes you as a part of their Family.Antonia, George, Picolina and vana helps you in all you need to do in Santorini. They give us an Wonderful Bridal suite for a low price compared to other near. hotels.
The Hotel is very well located with view to the volcano caldera (You have a seat all days to see the sunset), very good restaurants (Best Mama Thira) , shops , minimarket etc. All is near the hotel and if you need a car to visit all other places they help you to have a new car for a good price.
We live at the other side of the world (south america) and it was very difficult to find an hotel like this with direct elechtronic reservation, because all other hotels in Santorini do not have these tool in their own web page.

We stayed here in mid September and would not have changed a thing about our stay. From the moment we walked through the door we felt like we were visiting an old friend rather than staying in another hotel. The room we had was over 2 levels and our daughter had her own room upstairs which she just loved. There were plenty of restaurants with in strolling distance which Nikolina recommend and we tried and can now also recommend. The breakfast at the property, served in the dining/reception room, was HUGE and very inexpensive. It was lovely to sit on the balcony in the afternoon and watch the passing parade of people on the footpath also. Would not hesitate to return to Reverie Traditional Apartments and would also recommend to anyone thinking of heading to Firastefani.

Stayed here for my honeymoon from 6 Oct to 9 Oct. The plus points of this place are the spacious rooms, free WIFI and the wonderful hospitality of the owners. Nikolina helped us to resolve our ferry cancellation issues and was always there to assist us in touring Santorini. It is quite cosy and you don't feel like you are sharing the space with another few hundred guests in a 5 star hotel. You get service straight away, no more waiting in the queue for the reception!

Location wise, is fine unless you prefer to have caldera-view (of the volcano), since the apartments are located a street further away. Getting around to Firo is easy, via the footpath which takes you through a scenic view of the caldera. You can also choose the main road if you wish.

All in all, a good experience. I would recommend for Couples, family or just the traveller.
