We had a wonderful experience at Sun Rocks. First, it is perfectly located in the town of Firostefani. You can easily walk to Fira, Imerovigli, and the rock of Skaros. Views of the caldera and sunsets are breathtaking (I think even better than from Ia). I'm not normally a breakfast eater, but absolutely loved the breakfasts. All of the greek items were amazing - greek pies, yogurt with fruit and honey, greek omelet, sausage. Our servers were great, and once again the views from the poolside restaurant overlooking the caldera were mesmerizing. Lefty (the manager) really takes care of you - from providing you with a mobile phone for you to call reception from anywhere on the island to arranging ferry rides and/or drivers. He really came through for us when our ferry leaving the island was cancelled due to weather. He was on the phone with the ferry company, our next hotel, and travel agent, helping us rearrange our itinerary. I hope to make it back soon!

We went to Sun Rocks on the second of three legs on our honeymoon. The staff was exceptional, the breakfasts were great (except for the pancakes), and it was particularly peaceful. The maid service was just average, but the room was neatened every day. I highly recommend Sun Rocks.

Breathtaking views, amazing breakfast, good service

Very friendly staff, great location with easy walking distance to Thira. The hotel can organise anything for you and make your stay and exploration of Santorini easy and fun.

Great to have a restaurant inside the hotel, a luxury not all hotels have. The food was excellent, service excellent and location great. Alex the F&B manager was great. Not a cheap holiday but you get what you pay for, and here we had a wonderful, relaxing time in a beautiful setting - bonus - as a couples only hotel, there were no kids!!

Room 119 is an excellent, close to the pool, bar and restaurant. Excellent views of the sunset. Airconditioning not especially effective but it does the job.
