Charming village, ideal for those looking for peace and quiet. Finally do not forget to sample the table d'hote, delicious.

From the moment we arrived the Swifts were very welcoming. Our room was large, airy and beautifully presented....in fact the whole house is beautifully presented. Breakfast was served in the garden each morning. The garden is charming and the views quite stunning. Valence sur Baise is a fabulous base for exploring The Gers and Keith provides well planned advice on day trips in the area. An evening meal cooked by Keith is a must!

This was our second visit and well worth it. beautifully presented rooms and breakfasts.The hosts Keith and Kate are lovely and welcoming and can provide a fantastic evening meal including wine and brandy at a very realistic price- very welcome after a long journey ( ring or email ahead to request.) Weather this trip wasn't great but we were given a great driving itinerary to explore and Keith was a mine of info about local foods drinks and events. We will definitely be back.

A warm welcome from Keith and and Kate who were friendly and helpful without being pushy. They made us very welcome and provided a superb evening meal for us. We are veggie so eating in France is not always easy but we were wined and dined for a small extra charge with outstanding vegetarian food.
The room was very clean and comfy although we are not fans of feather duvets and pillows. Keith provided us with sight seeing routes which were very helpful and clearly written out. The weather was bright and sunny which meant we were able to really appreciate the unspoilt countryside and we hope to return later in the year to see the sunflowers in bloom.
A great place for a quiet relaxing break - no TV just good company and peace and quiet.
