We highly recommend this hotel. Quiet area but close to lots of chateaux, Sarlat, Cahors...
Everything was perfect. Staff were very pleasant and friendly (big change from Paris!)
The restaurant deserves their one star Michelin.

A gorgeous way to start 2012. Beautifully presented dining room, professional friendly staff & a tastefully created menu. Each dish was superbly executed, colourful & a treat or the taste buds.
This is probably one of the finest restaurants in the Dordogne if one is seeking Haute Cuisine.

This marvellous Hostellerie – a member of the Relais & Chateau chain, has been in the same family for 500 years and the wealth of acquired hospitality shows. From the moment one enters, the efficient staff and immaculate reception rooms will enchant. Walk along the ancient wood-panelled corridors and into one of the 10 rooms and 8 suites to behold tres, grand comfort.
From the down duvets to the fluffed pillows and country French toile wallpaper, to the soft bath robes and silver tray piled with hot chocolate, an aromatic array of teas and rich coffee – no effort has been spared to create the perfect stay.
Manicured gardens frame a large, sparkling pool and the old tobacco drying barn has been converted into a magnificent restaurant offering menus to enslave a prince. The cuisine is costly; but the owners have thought of everything and, should you desire less ostentatious fare, the hotel owns an attractive bistro just outside the gates, offering magnificent food for a fraction of the price.
