“Good B & B”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2011

This B & B was our first stop over on our trip around Scotland. Andrew welcomed us warmly and looked after us well. The rooms are beautifully kitted out , a little small but fine. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. We were amused by all the quirky memorabilia and ornaments around the house, eg the sound of hooting owls and a wolf whistle as you walk through the front door ! This B & B is well situated for the Islay ferry.

“Perfect place to stay in Tarbert”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 October 2011

This was the third time we stayed with Andrew at The Moorings because we love to stay there. Andrew does a wonderful job of making you feel welcome. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the beds are super comfortable. Tarbert is a great place to stay and Andrew's B and B is A-1.

Room Tip: The room facing the water gives you a great view during sunrise

“Best in Tarbert”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 October 2011

Booked this B&B following tripadvisor reviews and glad we did. Superb views, lovely comfortable room, great breakfast and charming house and owner. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Tarbert now we've found this.

Room Tip: Expect rooms to be compact as the B&B is a little cottage, room 3 probably has the best view
