My sister and I stayed here to celebrate out late mum's birthday. It is a really charming place to stay with very good hosts who made us feel very welcome. Very reasonably priced food and comfortable accommodation. We really enjoyed the experience and the village is so quiet and peaceful.

My husband and myself were staying in a hotel nearby, food was quite expensive there, so decided to pop in here to have a look. Well, the menu was quite reasonable, as they not only did a set 2 or 3 course menu, but also a bar menu. We had the home-made cheeseburger with home-made fries and home-made coleslaw. We never choose to eat things like this, but we had done an exceptionally long walk this day and were ravenous. It was outstanding! and for just £8.95. Would definitely recommend this Inn, and the Landlord and his wife are very friendly too!

I stayed here with friends (we occupied 4 rooms) as we needed somewhere to stay near Oxford. On arrival the entrance way did not look promising. However, on entering the rooms spirits were lifted. All are individually designed around the shape and beams of the old building. They were clean and well equipped. We dined in the evening - great food and wine at a reasonable cost.
The breakfast was exceptionally good - cooked to order and delicious.
The car park is at the rear.

We came to the village for a friends party on a Saturday evening. We stayed in Cloisters room, Lovely room with charm and brilliant shower. Good helpful staff. And even got an early check in. Perfect Full English after a nice night.
