this was the first place we stayed in Spain and found it a very good start to our tip.The owners were willing to help us although we didnt speak any spanish. I really like this place . the food was good and the hotel spacious and clean.would go again and reccoment it to friends.

La Cerca is a terrific small hotel, in the charming town of Chinchon. The hotel is quiet, clean, and well-kept -- the room was large, and well-furnished.

The hotel provides free parking -- and one can walk throughout the charming town of Chinchon, and visit its beautiful Plaza Major with unique two-story wooden balconies. The restaurant choices on the Plaza are plentiful -- and good values are available.

Breakfast did not appear to be served at La Cerca -- but no problem, as several bakeries in town sell bread, rolls, and local delicacies, and shops are open for juice and supplements. One can bring these back to the hotel, or eat them in the open air of the Plaza.

The experience is very much "old Spain" -- charming, unspoiled, and fun !

We always stay at this hotel when we're driving to Southern Spain using the Portsmouth Bilbao ferry. Chinchon is a picturesque half-way stop with a selection of great restaurants. And, if you stay at this hotel you'll have plenty of money left for a blow-out meal. It's clean comfortable and friendly - and at around 50 euros a night, an absolute bargain.
