Located a short walk from the main square, this is a comfortable and friendly hotel in a historic building. A good room with a huge comfortable bed. Reasonable buffet breakfast.
I can think of nothing to criticise, hence the 5* review.

Lovely hotel with a charming courtyard and very quiet. Staff helpful with some English - enough to get by. Good location in the village and a nice spot to stay if travelling to or from Madrid airport. Breakfasts good but a bit pricey. Rooms ok, especially those with balconies overlooking the courtyard - but a little bit tired and dated.

We left the city in search of peace and quiet and found a gem. We booked a superior room with jacuzzi and found it to be much more than we expected. As with many hotels in Spain this summer, the actual price we paid was much less than quoted online.
The hotel owns a restaurant in the Plaza Mayor, "Cafe de la Iberia." The hotel arranged a beautiful balcony table for us, and even in the rain and lightning, the view was very romantic. Word to the wise, a medium steak here is very rare but the friendly staff was happy to cook it more to my liking. The staff at both the hotel and the restaurant are kind and professional. We met many locals in the evening and found the town incredibly friendly and simply perfect. We will be back to visit our room here asap. ENJOY!

hotel was lovely and clean, excellant bathroom. no staff spoke english, dont think anyone in the area spoke english but very pleasant people. Hotel not very helpful in directing us in things to do or transport but dont think they understood us or there was simply nothing to do in chinchon to talk about!
breakfast was way over priced, we just ate out but that wasnt much cheaper etiher.
Very nice, clean, safe, quiet area for a stroll but nothing to do at all! we had to travel into madrid or surrounding villages everyday by bus to ease the boredom, expensive and very very long dull trip. Nice scenery the first time you do it but then its just a chore.
If you want to see madrid or get out and about and visit interesting places dont go here unless you have a car but if your 90years old and want peace and quiet then its good, def not place for travelling and exploring, we saw all there was to do in chinchon in about 5 mins, eat in a cafe or have a bath! and spent all our money trying to get out of there for the day!
wouldnt go here again but but only coz it we were in middle of nowhere, was nice romantic little place though, depends what your looking for i suppose.
