Seems like an unprofessional kept and overpriced Hotel. In my room some lights were not working, mould in bath, shower was falling apart, old and leaking toilet, heating was off, even pencil for writing evaluation was not working.
Historical hotel stands here for outdated and shabby condition in the low price rooms. Low price at Fleischers means almost the double amount of what you would pay for a decent hotel in Oslo. Only good thing is location.

Cheerful welcome at reception, comfortable room with all the little niceties like emery boards and a sewing kit, delicious food, great seasonal decorations and friendly staff. Part of the Norway in a Nutshell tour-although not to be missed from Oslo to Bergen-if you have an overnight in Voss. Big town to explore too with all the shops to stock up

It has an older feel, which I think, is part of charm. Restaurant was nice with good food. Very convenient location.

located right next to the railway station, the hotel was very grand. It was quiet as it was not too busy. Breakfast was very good and the service was great.
My husbands only complaint was the luggage room was downstairs and was a fair way from the lift. There as no one to offer him any assistance
