Location is great in the old town. The new part of Gallipoli is not so nice so do not stay there. For disabled people it might be a little bit difficult to access hotel because it is difficult to go by car to the hotel if you do not have a small car.. Easier to park the car and walk to hotel but the walk is short so it should not be a problem for most people. The hotel is very nicely decorated is stayed in a standard room and it was clean and bed was also comfortable. The room is not that large and it had only window towards the corridoor. But it is not a ordinary corridor. The ceiling was beautiful. Is usually do not like staying in rooms with no windows towards the outside but this room felt great anyhow.
The staff was really nice and gave good recommendation for both restaurants and beaches in the area. Porto Selvaggio was great only drawback is that is was a 25 walk to get there but when there it was really beautiful and quiet, a rock beach. Beware though that you have to be early to get a spot to lie on because there are not that many that is comfortable since it is very rugged.. The centro storico of Gallipoli is very beautiful lots of people walking around nicely dressed old men and woman and when i was there in september not that many tourists and the only tourists that actually were there were italians.
Breakfast at the roof of the building was nice especially the croissants otherwise a pretty basic breakfast for Italy.
