Four of us had a super time here. There were so many walks that we could do, that time just flew by. It was such a delight to "come home " each evening to the villa and to relax in the pool Damien made such a difference also to the quality of our stay with his suggestions, help and overall interesting perspectives.

A lovely place to stay with fantastic views- a delight to waken each morning in such tranquillity.The view from the pool through the flowers in the garden makes fantastic photos. Very well equipped apartments and Damien was full of good suggestions for where to eat and visit. Lovely warm weather at the end of September and great walking country. Think we will return in springtime as meadows look really appealing.This area is off the beaten track which makes it most appealing and yet beautiful towns nearby. For those in the North we flew from Liverpool to Rimini which was easy and then hired a car and were at Sarnano in less than 2 hours- ideal. A great location for us adults but also for families this would be marvellous. Margaret H

We had an excellent holiday here and spent many a happy hour by the swimmimng pool. Very interested to see how Damien and his family had developped the farm-house into the very comfortable apartments - what vision!

Our second stay at Villa San Rafaello, and just as good as the first. The apartments are spotless and well equipped; the grounds are stunning, especially the view from the pool. The information provided by Damien and Sharon really helps you to make the most of the visit. The whole place is friendly and relaxed, and the shared equipment - books, videos, rackets and balls etc. was really useful. The town is really close (5 mins drive) with plenty of places to eat, and a highlight for us was eating at two agriturismos. Loads of things to do within an hour's drive - we visited roman ruins, walked in the mountains, went to a water park and to the beach, and explored various towns - a good place to base yourselves for a very varied holiday.
