Villa Edera is set in a wonderfully picturesque location in the hills just overlooking the delightful small seaside town of Moneglia. The quality and tastefull furnishings of the villa and surrounds were excellent, harmonising beautifully with the nestling countryside. This created an atmosphere that was immediately welcoming and comfortable which only got better and better when you met and got to know the charming, always helpful owners, Signora Orietta, Signorina Francesca and their efficient friendly staff. The food whether it be at breakfast, for nibbles with drinks on the terraces or in the dining room for dinner was delicious.

This is a fantastic hotel. It is an absolute gem. You can get to the Cinque Terra towns with the local trains. We were there in August which is very hot but this hotel was cool. It is comfortable, has a swimming pool, good breakfast and great customer service. A group of 17 friends stayed there for a week and we celebrated my birthday. We had a party beside the pool with a local musician and fantatsic food.

We went to villa Edera with a Group of friends for a birthday party. The Villa Edera is a family run business for the past 50 years. Our room was not so large and the shower somewhat small - actually minuscule however the service was great, the room clean and the staff very welcoming. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was surprisingly good, the food was excellent and the salad bar good value. The Silver Fox who serves in the hotel was very indulgence with some very raucous people. The birthday was was held by the pool. The tables were beautifully dressed and the food and service superb. The staff looked like they were enjoying the party as much as the guests which was very nice. The pool is a fabulous addition to a hotel in the Moneglia and the location is very close to town and the railway station.

For a real tast of Northern Italy the Villa Edera Hotel has it all. Where the owners'
take real pride in their business, making sure their guests are pleased. With an on-site
chef and baker the food in outstanding.The Village of Moneglia is authentic without
being touristy. The Hotel is located conviently a few blocks from one of the better beaches
on the italian Riviera. We would return in a heartbeat.
