“PURE FANTASY”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 September 2011

It was my first time in Provence and I was thrilled to stay at Domaine de Conillieres. The property has a wonderfully relaxing feeling that added to my vacation. The spacious apartment was super comfy and I loved the views - especially overlooking the beautiful vineyards from my kitchen window. On another note, I very much liked the location in that it allowed me a convenient homebase to explore the beach towns and historical villages in the area. Additionally, the owner/host of the property (Philippe) was gracious and so knowledgeable in helping me to find the best restaurants etc. I can't wait to return to my newfound second home in Provence!

Room Tip: the garrigue suite was roomy - slept 4 very comfortably and i loved having the patio terrace off the...

“just perfect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 July 2011

we had a great week staying at the Domaine, it was even better than we had hoped. Very comfortable, good bed, very well equiped kitchen, BBQ on our large terrace, and good lighting! It was so peaceful we relaxed totally.. if you are doing a barbeque make sure you walk up to the butcher in Bras, his meat is fantastic and his home made dishes are delicious.

“Relaxing stay in Provence”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 May 2011

We stayed at Domaine de Conillieres on the recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed. It was the perfect place to stay for some relaxation during our honeymoon. We stayed in The Patio for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The Patio is well set up and allowed us to self cater as much as we wanted (we enjoyed lots of wine, champagne and anti-pasto in the lovely courtyard!). Saint-Maximin is a short drive away and has everything you need (including a gorgeous basilica).

Philippe was very friendly and helpful, providing some great advice for day trips. On his advice we walked to Bras on the Sunday morning which is a lovely 40 minute walk through the countryside. We also went to Gorge Verdon, Cassis/Marseille and Monaco - all a nice day trip from Conillieres.

The Conillieres was also the perfect spot to relax. It is extremely quiet and is located amongst some lovely vineyards that make a stroll (with the dogs!) a wonderful way to cap off a relaxing day.

I will certainly recommend Domaine de Conillieres to firends!

“Paradise in Provence!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 August 2010

After many hours searching for a holiday let in Provence we came across the "Domaine de Conilliers". We've had a few bad experiences in the past with bookings on internet so were a little nervous about what we would find. We arrived late in the afternoon and Philippe was there to welcome us, we immediately fell in love with this incredible place. We spent 2 weeks in the 200 year old Gite "La Bastide", we had a beautiful view from our garden of the Saint Baume and an olive grove. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. Philippe speaks perfect English and was extremely helpful as far as organizing our day trips and tours was concerned. There are so many things to do and see in the region or just spend days lounging by the pool, going for bike rides or hikes in the surrounding countryside. This is the place l would recommend for anyone wanting to visit Provence.
