What a find. We arrived in Menerbes in the Luberon area of France without any pre-booked accommodation. Mas Catherusse was recommended by one of the locals that we chatted to over lunch and what a superb recommendation this turned out to be.
A stylish 17th century working farm with delightful owners - Mdme Danny who was graciousness personified and husband Michel who drove the farm's tractor with aplomb!
We stayed two nights and loved every second - both in the guest house and exploring the town of Menerbes, where we had 2 superb meals in a local eatery called Charlottes - the locals eat there so it had to be good!
Highly recommended.
