3 km from the nearest town was very welcome as we were walking the St. Jacques de Compostelle route and had to walk more than anticipated in the morning. Lovely chambre d'hote - smallish, simple rooms with ensuite shower/toilet separated from the room by a curtain; pleasant welcome. Good food that evening, vegetables from the garden and care had been taken with the meal. The Apero was home made, although we felt that it would have been nice not to request a second round (the portion's were small!) and given grudgingly - which was a shame as the Chambre d'hote the day before was pressing stuff on us! Pleasant breakfast with different jams and honey. The small river nearby was fantastic and it all felt wonderfully isolated and quiet. Reasonably priced.
