My wife & I and 2 teenage boys stayed at Terrace Apartments in mid January in a 2 bedroom unit for three nights. What impressed us most was the enormous size of the unit. Our unit (214) was on the second floor and it was split level therefore had 2 balconies. The size of bedrooms was very generous and likewise the lounge, kitchen, bathrooms and balconies were all spacious and well equipped. Bedrooms being upstairs meant that one could have a snooze while others partied or did other things in the living area downstairs. Being a small resort, the facilities are not comparable to the more glamorous resorts nearby but the pool served as very well to cool down in the oppressive heat of Fiji's summer. It is the best located resort in Denarau as it is directly opposite Port Denarau where the restaurants and shops are situated and also the port to board the boats to the outer islands. Full kitchen facilities enables you to self cater if restaurant eating for every meal is not conducive. The supermarket at Port Denarau is expensive so it is best to stock up on groceries in supermarkets in Nadi town, Martintar or Namaka. For fresh fish, fruit and vegetabels, Nadi or Namaka markets are the places to go. Processed foods in Fiji are expensive so if on a budget stick to fresh foods. Bread is cheap but it is best to bring spreads and beverages from your home country.
I have stayed at this resort on two previous occassions and will definitely stay again.
