My husband and I just spent our babymoon at Las Casitas in a one bedroom ocean suite. Everything was really wonderful. The property was pretty empty as it was an off week to go, so it was very quiet and relaxing. The infinity pool is great. We went over to El Con for the breakfast (which is great and has a nice selection of fresh fruits, etc) and to take the ferry to the island. It wasn’t bad getting over to El Con and we waited max 5 min for someone to take us over in the golf cart. I think it would probably take longer if the resort was full. The private island is beautiful, but food at the restaurant there is not great. It can be a little inconvenient getting to the island, ferries were supposed to run every half an hour, but were running every hour instead so we had to wait 40 min for the boat. It would have been good if they posted the times in the lobby or by Las Brisas restaurant. We ate at the Italian restaurant at El Con one night and that was good. We went to La Estacion right outside the property and it was a good place for some local food. I recommend renting a car and going to Old San Juan one day. It’s only an hour drive and worth the trip! All in all, we will be back to Las Casitas!
