My family and friends love to stayed here and we plan on coming back again on our next vacation because of the amenities and convenient location. Feels like you are in a safe and fresh environment. They give reasonable prices and the employees are also helpful. My kids loved the pool area.. This hotel is very safe and perfect for family with small kids...

We booked for a 2 night stay but were not very impressed by the facilities. The hotel has a pool, but we were unable to use it since it was dirty. We asked the staff if it was going to be cleaned anytime soon, but the staff only shrugged and did not reply. The rooms were OK, basic and simple. The air conditioning worked well and the TV had cable. The breakfast at the restaurant was good. The staff were excellent, and were extremely helpful. The hotel had a free airport and drop off service which we appreciated since car rentals, for us, were quite expensive in the city. The location is a bit far from the city center, so looking for other places to eat was a bit difficult for us. All in all, the hotel was OK, but we feel that it can be better once improved.

My family decided to tour around Northern Philippines for a change since we live in the Southern Phil. We booked a month before our trip to this hotel.

Northview Hotel offered us great service. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were comfortable and very affordable. I loved the ambiance of the hotel, so relaxing and laid-back. No problems with the parking cos it was very wide. Swimming pool was great (esp for the kids). Hotel is also pet-friendly. The hotel is near the downtown of Laoag city (about 5 mins).

Overall, Id rate the hotel 5 stars. ;)

This hotel is 1.7 kms away from Laoag city center. For the price, its just reasonable. I stayed here for two nights. Since I'm always away most of the time, visiting different interesting places around Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte, I only get back to the hotel to sleep.

The hotel has got good connections with transportation. If you don't have your own transportation or you're a tourist and just love to go around the interesting places, it would be advisable to get some transportation. In my case, the hotel recommended that I take the transport service of :

As advised by the hotel, the whole day rent of a van is P2,500. It doesn't include the gas though, but you can either pay for the gas yourself or just pay extra P1,000, and you have a good conditioned van for the whole day. Mr. Garnace is very professional and knows place so well as he is a local of Ilocos region. I was even pleased as I get to visit more places that were not on my list.

One minor problem with the hotel(as far as the room I'm in), is that the airconditioning is a little noisier, its probably a while since it was installed.

overall, the hotel was good enough for its price, a little further from Laoag proper -- but just five minutes or so -- not bad. The price was really reasonable -- hot/cold shower, and with breakfast(not a buffet though). If you're a foreigner, you may not like the breakfast since its a Filipino type of breakfast, but, McDonalds is just five minutes away for that quick bite.
